Hydrophobia - Blade Interactive


A game influenced from every water-based Hollywood movie from The Poseidon Adventure to Titanic. You’re in control of Kate, an engineer on a massive super ship sailing with the understated handle, Queen of the World. Loosely based on an ill-fated real world project called the Freedom Ship, the Queen of the World is a gargantuan floating city, a ten-deck behemoth with Skyscrapers, shops, casinos, restaurants, golf-courses and even beaches, designed as a haven for the super rich. Since she never sails in territorial waters, it’s an attractive place for wealthy individuals to dodge taxes, and companies to dodge laws.

Unfortunately, the supposed freedom she brings invites her downfall. A research company called Nano Cell that produces nanobots that purify water incites the wrath of fanatics called Neo-Malthusians. A year into its lifespan the ship comes under attack and Kate is thrust into the role of the reluctant heroine. Plunged down to the bottom deck where a hole’s been blown through the hull, Kate has to use her body and her brains to survive the sinking ship, help others and get rid of the terrorists. And she ain’t too handy with guns. Oh, and - here’s the twist - she’s terrified of water.

Officials from UK based technology firm Blade Interactive have announced the creation of HydroEngine, a “physically accurate” real-time fluid dynamics engine for use in video game development.

Promising effects that have “never been seen in videogames before,” the HydroEngine technology will make its debut as part of Blade's upcoming survival adventure game Hydrophobia, currently in development for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Commented Huw Lloyd, R&D director at Blade, on Hydrophobia, “We could have been forgiven if we had merely produced a tech demo...but this new game is a robust next gen game in its own right that pushes the limits of the new consoles.”

He added: “Our HydroEngine is the result of nearly 3 years intensive development work... Water in games has so far been merely a flat plane with ripple effects and other graphical smoke and mirrors applied to it. The HydroEngine is different in one key respect - the water flows. It looks and behaves exactly like real water.”

Project WITCHES - Revistronic


Project WITCHES is a 3rd person tactical combat game designed to exploit the capabilities of new generation consoles. Players find themselves in terrifying dark medieval surroundings in an epic struggle for survival against the repellent deformed Hordes of the Beast, an evil creature that has established a reign of slavery and terror throughout the land.

Across a landscape of devastation, you have to direct Gwen, a sultry warrior that still resists his dark will and leads the rebellion against his satanic power.Above all, it is a game where teamwork is vital: all modelling, levels and scenes are designed to promote cooperative play, whether it be through the artificial intelligence of allies or with human players across the Internet.

Solo me llaman la aencion hidrofobia y Bitches.(q buenas .....)
q ganas de bañarme me estan entrando...
Pues el hidrofobia si no fuera por el modelado de la tia, que me parece un poco simplon, tiene una pinta muy buena...
Y mas que hidrophobia, parace claustrofobia, porque los escenario dan sensacion de agobio, o por lo menos asi me parece a mi.
Habra que ver los enemigos que tiene este juego, saludos.
Ya era hora de noticias frescas de nuevos desarrollos, habra que esperar que tal, se sabe muy poco de cada uno como para opinar.
por ahora el Hidro me gusta el aspecto que tiene...y bueno ya era hora de más juegos anunciados(y que no sean secuelas)..

Es q fue hecho con el motor hydro.

El danger planet tiene ese diseño retro espacial que me parece genial y el witches pinta del copon por diox
Si la verdad que el hidrophobia como dije antes tiene una pinta de lujo, la gente que dice que se ve cutrecillo, pues no se que espera de un juego, para mi excepto la protagonista que la veo algo escasa de texturas, veo el juego de lujo, las paredes, el agua, y bueno esa sensacion claustrofobica que me encanta en un juego, y si la usan bien, puede ser un juegazo de estos que pasan sin pena ni gloria...ya veremos en que qeda todo.
pues para no saber nada de estos juegos tienen muy buena pinta, sobretodo los 2 primeros
