~@-@~, I think that most of that jokes are "imposible" to translate, I mean that You can translate them, but they won´t have any sene cause is like when You see Friends in english, probably You would not understand any joke.

I'll try with one some of them:

- We're emducked!!!

- Doctor, doctor, which is this illnes that I have?
- You zeem a teddy bear!

- Dear, there's a bullfight in TV!
- Do you want me to tape it?
- No, what I want is you to clean it!!!

Alex_Maes, you are very right, so that's what I said that it's one of the most difficult things to translate, not into english, but into any language.

'Cause we don't have the same sense of humor than the english or the american, or any other people.

In languages is the most difficult, anyway there are some people who try to do it.

Saben aquel que diu....=> Have you heart about....

(By the way,we can not translate word by word, we have to manage to try to translate it but not word by word, because in english there is a different way of telling the things or expressing )

You're right! Despite having been in America later, when I was learning english first I was in England (London) twice, and twice again in Ireland two years after.

This is the best thread than I've found, for a long time I've just visited only spanish speaking forums and neglected a lot my mother language.
Spanish's probably the most complex language, some meanings of the english jokes can't be translated because its sense's more simple and when it's modified can take thousand of different meanings by the quantity of multiple interpretations that sprout of your root, the latin.

Yes, almost all the series are FAR more better in their original language... It's how they talk, more expressively, with those jokes that are only hillarious in their language... Try and watch The Simpsons, the new chapters, are incredibly funnier in English, every time i watch i spanish episode, i'm >_> WTF... However, in english the scenes are much funnier, the way the characters act with their voices, what they say etc. is different from the translated version.

Also, I forgot to mention, this applies to he movies too, it's sooo different from watching an original version, it seems another film, much more realistic and engaging.

Last friday I did my english exam. It was very easy and I finished it very quickly. I got 27,5/30 the first time, now I have to wait for the results.

Yesterday I went to my sister's friend house and she has bought a "jacuzzi" :S I want it too!!!
