1 Open network neighborhood and in the left hand corner,
click "creat new connection"
2 Once the wizard opens click on "set up an advanced
connections"
3 Then select "accept incoming connections"
4 On the next screen, it shows what devices you want to
accept a connection on. Mine just has the parrellel
port for some reason, but don't worry about it.
5 On the screen after that, you must select "allow
virtual provate connections"
6 After that, you select the users you want to be able to
vpn into your lan at home
*NOTE if you add users after you set up incomming connections, you must right click on it in network neighborhood and put a check box by thier name, because by default, it won't alllow them to connect. You can create users though the control pannel.
7 After that, you select what protocols you want to
tunnel out to clients.
Cliente:
Client Setup
Pretty simple..
1 Click on Creat a new connection in network neighborhood.
2 Select "connect to the network at my workplace"
3 Then select Virtual Private Network connection
4 Then type what you want to call it
5 Then it asks you if you want to dial this up by
default (not recommended)
6 Then type in the IP of the server you want to vpn to.
That's it! It will be added to your netwokr neighborhood under Virtual Private Network. When you click on it, that is where you enter your user/pass info
