Well, I've managed to do a patch that I wish would allow most people to understand the game well enough.

I haven't released it before because I was correcting some bugs, and now it's done, not 100% nor near, but I think it's a good time to release it as a Beta because it's a weekend and most people (not me :\) starts their holidays today.
So it could be a "Christmas present Beta release"

I repeat that it does not translate the entire game, at ALL.

Basically it translates most (near all) menus in the game, like match, cup, league and some of the master league ones, edit, formation, etc. Some words remain untranslated because technical incapacity of translating them at this moment or basically because of a matter of time.
It also put correct names for all players, teams and stadiums, post match stats, and most things, I can't remember them one by one.

What does it not translate are several phrases from memory card, help menus, training challenge explanations and moves explanations (and fortunately these ones were pretty intuitive without reading japanese) .

It could be considered 70% patch, depending on how yo look at it, it's not really worth to say a %.

It also includes all master league teams more addecuate flags than the ones that come in the game, not over the original ones, but over the sample flags that Konami offer to you on the flag edit mode, so you can go edit the flag of a team and select the one your preffer from the samples, then save the selection to your memory card and have a more realistic flag for each team.

I've done this that way because I can put 160 flags over the sample ones. And I have not put that big quantity of them now, I've only put the master league teams ones. The idea, if people likes it, is people sending flags for their teams (not necessarely the ones that are in the game) made in graphic format (bmp,gif,pcx, more specifications about it later if that idea seems interesting) so I can include them all (or if I receive more than 160, and i doubt it happens, the best ones) to the next release of the patch.
This is another reason because I wanted to release it early, so people can do flags better looking than the poor ones I included in the patch :\, and so everyone could collaborate a little with the patch :d.

As a final note, I can't edit uniforms or things like that now, if anytime I can, I'll try.

And well finally, you should be asking yourself "WHERE CAN I DOWNLOAD THE PATCH!"
From anywhere because I haven't released it yet. What I want to ask you people with awesome internet connections compared to my 56K one is that anyone who can server a FTP during some few days do it so I can upload the patch and people download it, 'cause everytime I release a patch the web free page goes out of bandwith in a few minutes, and it's pathetic.

I'll put a web online with explanations for applyng the patch correctly and about the flags things if anyone seems interested, and if people offers their FTPS for me to upload the patch during saturday, I can put this FTPS on the page too so everyone could download it.

That's all, sorry for the large bla bla bla, and I wish people collaborate with FTP as I did with a lot of effort doing the patch for all WE fans

The idea is people offering FTP's where to upload it (private FTPS, I mean no public ones where everybody could download it and then delete it), so when I have it finished I can upload it there. Is not that I DON'T WANT to send it to mails, is that is everyone asks it to me, it could be take me years to send to them all!
So please don't ask me to send it, because anyway I haven't released it yet.

And when I can upload it I'll mention it here, at this point is Saturday on Spain but not in the US, probably I'll need some hours to finish it.

Basically I recommend, if you don't have a lot of hidden teams or players or options unlocked, that you resave the option file the first time you use the patch, so all player names and team names can be saved to the memory card. In case you really DON'T WANT to erase it, you'll see japanese player names. To use the ones in the patch you can go to edit mode, modify players (1st option) and here select a team and then press triangle, a japanese phrase will ask you something, you pick the 1st option and all these team players will have their patch names (I.E. english ones).
You can do that for every team (about 4 mins in total for doing all teams) and that's it

I think that Kazaa idea is better than FTP one, but as I don't have Kazaa, I will put it on Emule (e-donkey) and WinMX. I'll ask how to make an e-link and then I'll put it on the page, I only ask you people to share it during some hours since you download it ok?

Initially I said it will include all master teams original flags, and I'm sorry but It will include only the 4 ones for the Spanish teams, sorry about that but I have had some problems with it. Anyway if I release another version of the patch someday it will include all flags people send to me (max 160) as I said before.

Still working on the patch.

It's possible that it will be available tomorrow instead of today (sunday then), or at late hours of today (saturday). Sorry for inconvenience, I really thought I could release it today, but bugs were present and I have to solve them.
