Me refiero a que no he encontrado mas información sobre mas placas que eran en realidad un PC, me da que después de que petaran la Tayto Type X, buscaron otro sistema

te equivocas en el enfoque, no es que sean un pc, es que usan un sistema operativo de pc. practicamente todo lo que es más nuevo esta basado en pc hardware
