Preguntas : Super Street fighter 2 X Grand master challenge

Saludos Dreamers
otra pregunta:
¿Gouki tiene Super poderes o algo asi?
Saludos

Introduction
============
Super Street Fighter II X: Grandmaster Challenge for Matching Service
(SSF2X) is an arcade-perfect port for Sega Dreamcast which is only available in
Japan. The North American arcade version is called "Super Street Fighter II
Turbo."

This document is a guide to the regular and EX option menus in Super Street
Fighter II X for Sega Dreamcast. I created this guide as a convenience to
English-speaking players like myself, as most of the menu text is in Japanese.

The EX ("Extra") option menu is a secret menu which is accessed by
highlighting "Options" at the main menu, holding down L (or Z on the arcade
stick/fighting pad), and pressing A.

Regular Option Menu Guide (Quick)
=================================
The regular options menu guide was created entirely by me, using only
common sense and trial-and-error. It is not a translation of the Japanese
text into English.

When you enter the option menu, you are given six choices, five of which
lead to sub-menus:
1) GAME
2) SOUND
3) SCREEN
4) CONTROLS
5) MEMORY CARD
6) EXIT

GAME Menu
---------
1) Difficulty
2) Time Limit
3) Number of Rounds
4) Speed
5) VMU Auto-Save
6) Reset to Defaults
7) Exit

SOUND Menu
----------
1) Audio Output (Stereo/Mono)
2) VMU Beep
3) Attract Mode Audio (Enabled/Disabled)
4) BGM Test
5) SE Test
6) BGM Level
7) SE Level
8) Reset to Defaults
9) Exit

SCREEN Menu
-----------
1) Display Position
2) Reset to Defaults
3) Exit

CONTROLS Menu
-------------
There are two identical menus here, corresponding to the first (1P) and second
(2P) players.
1) X
2) Y
3) L/Z
4) A
5) B
6) R/C
7) Vibration
8) Reset to Defaults
9) Exit

MEMORY CARD Menu
----------------
1) Save
2) Load
3) Exit

Regular Option Menu Guide (In-depth)
====================================
In this section of the FAQ, I've listed defaults and ranges for each of the
options. Values in a range are listed in the same order they would appear if
you pressed Right on the D-Pad to cycle through the values. For example, if
the current game speed is Turbo 6, pressing Right on the D-Pad would change
the speed to Free.

GAME Menu
---------
1) Difficulty
This option allows you to modify the AI's difficulty in a one-player
game. The higher the number, the harder the game becomes.
Default: 4
Range: 1-8
2) Time Limit
This option allows you to disable the time limit for rounds.
Default: On
Range: On, Off
3) Number of Rounds
Default: 3
Range: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9
4) Speed
When the "Free" setting is chosen, you get to choose from the Turbo 1, 2,
or 3 speed settings at the beginning of each game.
Default: Turbo 3
Range: Turbo 0-6, Free
5) VMU Auto-Save
When this option is enabled, the game will automatically save a file
to your VMU when game options are changed, etc.
Default: Disabled (*)
Range: Disabled, Enabled
(*) Selecting "Reset to Defaults" has no effect on the value of this
option, but you can always find out which value stands for
"Disabled" by removing your VMU while you're in the GAME menu. When
you remove your VMU, the option will revert to "Disabled." You can
also tell because in this case, the word for "Enabled" is two
characters, while the word for "Disabled" is three characters.
6) Reset to Defaults
7) Exit

SOUND Menu
----------
1) Audio Output
Default: Same as system setting
Range: Stereo, Mono
2) VMU Beep
Default: On
Range: On, Off
3) Attract Mode Audio
When this option is disabled, the intro movie and demo fights will be
silent (no music or sound effects.)
Default: Enabled
Range: Enabled, Disabled
4) BGM Test
This option allows you to listen to the game's background music.
5) SE Test
This option allows you to listen to the game's sound effects.
6) BGM Level
Default: Normal
Range: Normal, 14-1, Silence
7) SE Level
Default: Normal
Range: Normal, 14-1, Silence
8) Reset to Defaults
9) Exit

SCREEN Menu
-----------
1) Display Position
Press the Left and Right on the D-Pad to change the X values and Up and
Down to change the Y values.
Default: X = 0, Y = 0
Range: X = -15 to 15, Y = -15 to 15
2) Reset to Defaults
3) Exit

CONTROLS Menu
-------------
This screen actually consists of two identical menus, one for the 1P side
and the other for the 2P side.

1) X
Default: LP
Range: LP, MP, HP, LK, MK, HK, LP+MP+HP, LK+MK+HK
2) Y
Default: MP
Range: LP, MP, HP, LK, MK, HK, LP+MP+HP, LK+MK+HK
3) L/Z
Default: HP
Range: LP, MP, HP, LK, MK, HK, LP+MP+HP, LK+MK+HK
4) A
Default: LK
Range: LP, MP, HP, LK, MK, HK, LP+MP+HP, LK+MK+HK
5) B
Default: MK
Range: LP, MP, HP, LK, MK, HK, LP+MP+HP, LK+MK+HK
6) R/C
Default: HK
Range: LP, MP, HP, LK, MK, HK, LP+MP+HP, LK+MK+HK
7) Vibration
Default: Off
Range: On, Off

MEMORY CARD Menu
----------------
1) Save
After you select a memory card, you are asked to confirm the save. The
left choice is "Yes", the right choice is "No." If a file already exists,
you are asked whether you want to overwrite the file. The left choice is
"Yes."
2) Load
You are asked to confirm loading of the file. The left choice is "Yes."
3) Exit

EX Option Menu Guide (Quick)
============================
The information contained in the EX options menu guide was originally posted
on GameFAQs' SSF2X message board by ehonda and snatcheruk. I'm not certain
whether it was an actual translation of the Japanese text or not.

To access the EX ("Extra") options menu, highlight "Options" at the main
menu, hold down L (or Z on the arcade stick/fighting pad), and press A.

EX Option Menu
--------------
1) Player 1 Super Gauge
2) Player 2 Super Gauge
3) Command Input Delay
4) Bonus Rounds
5) VS. Mode Super Character Selector
6) VS. Mode Human/Computer Selector
7) VS. Mode Damage Handicap
8) Reset High Scores
9) Reset to Defaults

EX Option Menu Guide (In-Depth)
===============================
In this section of the FAQ, I've listed defaults and ranges for each of the
options. Values in a range are listed in the same order they would appear if
you pressed Right on the D-Pad to cycle through the values.

1) Player 1 Super Gauge
This option affects the behaviour of Player 1's Super Gauge.
Default: Gauge is reset after each round
Range: Gauge is reset after each round, Gauge is preserved from round
to round, Permanent maximum gauge
2) Player 2 Super Gauge
This option affects the behaviour of Player 2's Super Gauge.
Default: Gauge is reset after each round
Range: Gauge is reset after each round, Gauge is preserved from round
to round, Permanent maximum gauge
3) Command Input Delay
This option is used to introduce a delay between inputting a command and
having your fighter perform the actual move. I think this option is used
to simulate network lag so that players can practise before playing
online.
Default: No delay
Range: 0-15
4) Bonus Rounds
This option allows you to enable the bonus rounds from Super Street
Fighter II (SSF2).
Default: Off
Range: On, Off
5) VS. Mode Super Character Selector
When this option is enabled, you can select the original SSF2 version of
a fighter without entering codes. After you select your fighter in
Versus mode, the Super selector will appear.
Default: Off
Range: On, Off
6) VS. Mode Human/Computer Selector
This option allows you to have the computer control one or both of the
fighters in Versus mode. After you select your fighter in Versus mode,
the Human/Computer selector will appear. Note that it's impossible
to have the computer control the SSF2 version of a fighter.
Default: Off
Range: On, Off
7) VS. Mode Damage Handicap
This option allows you to set a damage handicap for either fighter in
Versus mode. After you select your fighter in Versus mode, the damage
handicap selector will appear.
Default: On
Range: On, Off
8) Reset High Scores
This option will reset your high scores.
9) Reset to Defaults
