He intentado pasar de breezy a dapper (al igual q hice con la hoary), cambie los repositorios he hice un aptitude dist-upgrade. Baje todos los paquetes, los actualiza, y cuando reinicio el pc y escojo la nueva version de kernel, el entorno grafico no arranca. Me da un mensaje de error q dice q falta la libreria "glcore" o "libglcore" y no hay manera de arrancar las x , creo q tiene q ser algun error actualizando los drivers de nvidia. Los drivers de nvidia q tengo en breezy los instale con el automatix y no se si tendria algo q ver. Como me paso esto, restaure el backup de breezy q tenia hecho con el partimage y todo perfecto, pero me gustaria saber xq me ocurre esto con dapper, ya lo he intentado dos veces, antes lo achaque a q era practicamente una version alpha de dapper, pero los paquetes q bajo ayer ya eran de la beta. Bueno, a ver si me podeis echar una mano para actualizar a dapper sin tener q empezar de cero, es q lo tengo todo configurado a mi gusto (desde hoary) y no hay ganas de empezar a instalar y a configurar todo de nuevo. Bueno, veo q nadie sabe como ayudarme, aqui os dejo el log q obtengo a ver si asi se aclaran un poco las cosas. Mientras tanto sigo con breezy, pero a ver si me solucionais el problema y paso a dapper. Muchas gracias.

Así sin tener mucha idea, quizá es que te falta actualizar el módulo de nvidia para el nuevo kernel, si no lo has hecho ya.

Prueba a editar el xorg.conf para arrancar con vesa en vez de nvidia o como se llame.
