pspnoupdae ¿funciona?

Seguro q instala nuevas librerias??

Today, **** from ***+ has released a program called “PSP_No_Update_UMD_Starter” for the PSP. In the readme he claims that: “This program avoids the update necessity from new PSP games. The PSP cannot be destroyed by doing this!!!”

Testing this program out, it asks for the UMD to be in the drive and then will launch the UMD that is in it, bypassing the update! Many thanks to **** for this release from PSP users everywhere.

You can get it in our PSP Download section [here].

Nice, altho as afore-mentioned, some games will have difficulty to run since they use a newer firmware configurations. :(
But congarts! and thanks to noob.

Yah, this doesn't work to allow you to run the Update-Required games on a 1.0 PSP. (At least, it doesn't work for Coded Arms...) It might work on future games that have 1.52 frimware on them, these games my run on 1.50 fine... But that's something to determine in the future...

Hi,
the problem we found out is that execute ".elf" files in 1.0 is not supported. So this program is just for guys with a 1.5 who want to start a game which will need 1.52 .... there are some bugs in it, too. But we will give you a new version in a week.

I just tried to run Tony Hawk Underground 2 Remix on my 1.0 PSP using this to see if it worked and it froze at a screen saying "looking for bott.bin". Just thought i'd let you know.

...he already said it doesn't work on 1.0.

..and TH:U2R doesn't require an update anyway.

Placasoft - Thanks for this. Does it not work on 1.0 because the firmware is vastly different than 1.5? How can you be certain that it will prevent update on 1.5 PSPs, if there are no 2.52 or 1.52 games yet?

Sorry, if it's a srupid question, but this is a major program for a lot of us.

Also, any chance it can work with games from the Memory Stick?

Thanks

if it worked with games from the memory stick, you have to know by now that PSPUpdates would not be hosting it

Sweet!

props to placasoft for releasing this. I posted the idea a week or two ago but I don't know how to program so it stopped there.......

I apologize if I'm stupid, but how do we know this works? I'm with Willy Wank; I thought the current run of "must update" games are to 1.5... and this program only works on 1.5...? did I miss something?

A few new ones, such as Coded Arms and Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition require updates to 1.52

By Tsurala, at 9:39 PM

MC3 DUB Edition doesn't requrie 1.52
