Review Killer 7 IGN

9.5 Presentation
Exceptional. Stylized graphics complement a truly bizarre storyline driven by supeb anime-style cut-scenes.
8.0 Graphics
The style is beautiful. The levels are varied in design, each more crazy than the next. Some stiff character animation. Runs at a solid framerate throughout. No progressive scan or widescreen modes.
8.0 Sound
Overall great voice acting and moody music. The only downside is that the one-liners are repeated often during critical hits.
7.0 Gameplay
Radically different control setup is sure to frustrate some gamers. Players who can look beyond it will find a fun adventure with exploration, puzzle-solving, first-person shooting and more.
7.0 Lasting Appeal
At about 15 hours, Killer 7 features a sizeable single-player mode. Gamers can replay on different difficulties for varying challenge and unlockables.

Closing Comments
I expect that Killer 7 is going to be one of the most debated games of the year. I'm well aware that some people hate the title, just as others love it. Capcom has clearly emphasized story and style over good old-fashioned control mechanics and that is unequivocally the adventure's biggest problem. The control setup, which lacks true freedom, feels like an archaic step backward when compared to today's more traditional games. And yet, at the same time it's not an adventure-ruining choice for me, in the same way that the point-and-click mechanics of Myst didn't ruin that experience. Control remains very functional. It's just radically different.

Players who can look beyond the control mechanics will find a truly bold and intriguing adventure game lurking within Killer 7's beautiful cel-shaded visuals. This is a game that oozes style from beginning to end and also one with a story so brutally off-the-wall that it practically demands your attention. It's also a game that offers big rewards in the vein of gorgeous and lengthy cut-scenes for players who keep at it.

It is, however, not a game for younger players or for anybody who is generally uninterested in story or puzzle-solving-driven scenarios. Killer 7's adult themes, which encapsulate extremely violent, profane and sexual situations, as well as a wide range of issues from terrorism to the sale of children, make the M on the box really mean something.

Recommended.

9.5 Presentacion

Excepcional.
