Q. I'm having trouble getting my CPU/DVD key from a Trinity console - what do I do?
A. Trinity consoles can be a little more temperamental than Corona consoles when using the DGX.
If you have issues, try a different length of wire on CPU_RST (go up to 50cm then work your way down from there) and/or try the Xecuter SLIM POST QSB and/or double shielded cable and/or the Xecuter CPU RESET Cleaner. You can also try the alternate CPU_RST point (8cm wire + FT4R2). If you can't get your key(s) after 15 minutes or if you hear "ticking" sounds, do a hard reboot (unplug the power brick for 30 seconds) and then try again.
Some users report greater success when they put a 10pF cap on the RST line between GND and D.
Remember, you only need to use the DGX to dump your key(s) once - this isn't about speed or reliability, it's about dumping your console's CPU/DVD key (or both).
