Take-Two Interactive mentioned a plan of a sequel to Serious Sam for GameCube early this year. The title of the sequel has ranged from Serious Sam 2 to Serious Sam: The Second Encounter and word of what console it will come to has changed a couple times. Serious Sam: The Lost Levels is now the name of it on GameCube, but instead of the full-fledged sequel, this may just be original with added levels. Serious Sam was rumored for GameCube but it never was released.
Serious Sam: The Lost Levels will be released in the first quarter of 2004 and have up to four players. Rockstar Games is the publisher, who also announced Max Payne for GBA recently.
