Long time, no see. I know it’s been a while since my last blog update. I took the week of the 4th of July off for vacation, and all last week I was in Santa Monica for E3. Well, I’m back now, and I have something very special to share with you.

I put together some Dashboard themes for the Xbox 360 featuring the Puzzle Fighter characters last month, and I’m in the process of submitting them to Microsoft right now.
One theme features all of the characters from the game, with three characters each on the first three blade backgrounds, and the last blade featuring all of the characters surrounding the game logo.
The other two Themes feature the (main) “guys” and “girls” from the game. The Ladies theme features Chun-Li, Felicia, Sakura and Morrigan, each on their own blade background with the artwork from their stages. The Guys theme features Ken, Ryu, Dan and Akuma, also with their own background art from the game.
Below is a picture of the images as taped to my cubicle wall. You’ll notice some new background art for certain characters – this is straight from the new game. They should be available on Xbox Live in the near future.
What do you think of the themes?
Also, the last week of June I was able to put together the Xbox gamer pics for the gamer pic pack. I asked you all to vote and help me decide which characters to include. Well, based on the overwhelming response from you, I decided to (and got it approved) to include ALL 11 CHARACTERS. So, by buying one gamer pic pack at one low price (which I’ll reveal once things are finalized), you’ll be able to use any Puzzle Fighter (Street Fighter / Darkstalkers) character you want as your gamer icon.
Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix should be available on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network very soon. We’re wrapping it up now. It looks amazing, as you can imagine, from the new backgrounds and menus/UI, to all the new gem effects. I know I can’t wait till it comes out. It got a ton of play at our E3 booth in the hotel ballroom booth (we also had a booth in the hangar). Friday after we closed our doors, we even held an impromptu Puzzle Fighter tournament amongst the Capcom employees with the newly rebalanced X’ mode, which was a lot of fun.
