"The xbox WD hard disk has loads of random patterns, probably from WD's hard disk testing routines.
This program removes most of these patterns from the disk. This also means the images will compress MUCH better.
An issue with the program is that it is not able to handle the large file size of images of the disk. I'd recommend chunking the images into 1GB chunks.
Incidentally, *DO NOT* run this on your original xbox hard disk. ONLY run it on an image of the hard disk. I can't guarantee it won't delete vital data."

"Please note that it is unable to cope with the size of a complete xbox disk image. However, the program is designed to work from a chunked image (i.e. the image chopped up into multiple files). I chunked my image into 1GB chunks.
It's a bit rough, but it does the job. It'll let you list all the files in each partition, and also dump them individually."
