“The gameplay’s evolved a lot but the visual direction is simply much better than what you’ve seen.”
Easton added: “The gameplay has evolved from what we showed at Ubidays last year and when you see it again it’ll be worth the wait.”
Coloured us intrigued. No date as yet.
Yves Guillemot commented: "2009-10 looks very promising and our teams are working flat-out to provide gamers with the best the industry has to offer. Our line-up comprises several potential blockbusters with the launch of 7 franchises, including Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon, as well as 4 license-based games including James Cameron's Avatar, 3 new brands and a further-enhanced casual games portfolio."
Slinpter Cell Conviction EXCLUSIVO de Xbox360.
Durante la explicacion de los resultados financieros y fechas...juegos revelados, han declarado que el juego esta siendo desarrollado exclusivamente para Xbox360.
Speaking during a conference call following the company's third-quarter financial report, Ubisoft has re-confirmed that Splinter Cell Conviction will be an Xbox 360 exclusive.
Sam Fisher's highly anticipated and somewhat delayed next outing was announced as an Xbox 360 and Games for Windows exclusive back at X06 in September 2006, but after reports of development problems and a perpetually slipping release date Ubisoft went quiet on the game.
Toda esta informacion es del mes pasado.
PD:
El ultimo rumor que ha tenido el juego ( despues de tanto dato oficial ) esque el juego prodia aparecer en el GDC2009, ya que utilizaria el mismo MotorGrafico que Assassin's Creed 2.
But the problem is, we still haven’t seen anything of Conviction for a very long time, but if this rumor holds any water, then we may well be seeing or hearing about conviction sooner rather than later. Gameguru.in has said that Splinter Cell: Conviction and could be shown at this year’s GDC. The information they have is pretty sketchy at best, but they say that the game will share the same engine as Assassins Creed 2, with close-quarter combat moves that are incredibly smooth and easy to pull off, and that it will take place all across the globe in diverse outdoor locations. What could be the best bit, though, is that a demo may be shown behind closed doors at this year’s GDC. It’s about time we hear some new information, or even see that the game is still alive. GDC would be a great place to showcase the new and improved game.
