URGENTE: Placa para micro P4 1700

Me gustaria una buena placa para un P4 1700, me gustaria que fuera Asus por los buenos resultados que me ha dado otr que tengo, aunque en principio la marca me da un poco igual. Me gustaria que soportara DDR y AGP X8.

Por favor me tengo que decidir antes de las 2 de la tarde.

No se como estarán las placas de P4, xo creo q para ese micro ya estén hasta descatalogadas, lo q puedes hacer es pillar una de las q hay ahora, preferiblemente una palca nueva de las q han salido, ya q así la tendrás para futuras actualizaciones.

Estuve mirando en una web, y aquí te pongo unos links, leetelos, q yo no tuve tiempo, y elige, o mirate otras placas.

De estas tres no se cual es la mejor, son de última generación, y no se ni si te soportarán el micro ese, aunque supongo q si, xo weno, aquí te pongo otra q si q se q es muy buena, preparada, y q posiblmente te soporte el micro ese.

X cierto, si quieres saber lo q soporta cada placa, entra en las webs oficiales de cada una, no se cuales son, xo en google, sólo tienes q buscar un poco, supongo q ahí te pondrá los micros q soportan y las velocidades y demás.

Joer, lo que se supone, es que aunque el micro ya este un poco desfasado, xq ya no se fabrica, si yo lo tengo xq lo compre hace bastante tiempo, yo creo q si q lo puedo poner en una placa de las nuevas.

Eso es lo q yo creo, el zocalo es el mismo, en la pagina web de asus no dice nada. :(

Weno veo q quieres la asus, supongo q si te funcione, xo weno, de todas formas yo te sigo recomendando las otras tres q te puse, más q nada xq si te fijas en los últimos chipset para placas (parte fundamental de la placa!!!) para pentium los últimos si no me equivoco, son el Sis 655 y el i875P , y esa placa tiene un sis "antigüo", y a demás no soporta dual chanel. Xo weno, la decisión y las pelas son tuyas, tu sabrás.

Edito: He visto x ahí, q incluso hay un sis 748. Sinceramente te recomiendo q te gastes un poco más en la placa, es q la base de todo, y entre mejor sea esta, mejor irá todo en general y más te durará, y ya de comprar una, q sea de las últimas, supongo q el micro te lo soportará igualmente, siempre y cuando el soket, sea el mismo.

Pues la historia es esta, los primeros pentium4 los denominados willamete utilizaba el socket 423 y los "nuevos" willamete el 478 igual q todos los P4 q hay en la actualidad q son los Northwood. El Vcore cambia de los willamete a los northwood (d un 1-7 a 1.5 los northwood) Intenta mirar en el core a ver si pone o algo pa identificar el socket q tiene, pq ya se sabe la ley de murphy... aunke yo creo q sera un 478...
