HI,

I install one infinity in one v10 and all was ok, 2 weeks after the client bring me the ps2 back becouse when he put one cd in the ps2 only gets menu browser. i open the ps2 and the chip was ok, i reduce voltage from la to 5 v, laser is ok.. but the problem is when i put the disc he not moves... the motor dont rotate. i check fuses, flats and all ok, i put other complete drive and still doing the same.. i remove the infinity and nothing.
any ideias?

try moving the disc with your hand. if it makes a "scratching" sound and the laser is on the problem could be the LB11971

in this case the laser is ok and its a rotation problem.

if the laser turns off after 2 or 3 seconds try replacing the lens. it cant see the disc

Thanks for your help.. the problem was with tha laser, after change it all went fine.. i remove infinity, and i make a new conection.. i hope now fdont have more problems.
