¿VGA-Box Real?

Hi-Resolution VGA Adaptor (PAL Version)
Fabricante: Blaze

A ver ke entendeis vosotros...

Additional Information:

While there are many VGA adaptors on the market, none of them come even close to what the Blaze VGA adaptor can do. What must consumers don't realize is all VGA adaptors use something called "double scan" function. Which simply doubles the scan on the screen.

The Blaze VGA Adapter actually uses software to UNLOCK the true high resolution of the PS2 console. The PS2 console is capable of running in a resolution of 640 x 400 but the more common 320 x 200 is always used. With his unique VGA adaptor games will come alive with clarity and crisp graphics.

gracias

Reader Review

I decided to review this item after making the mistake of purchasing it without prior warning of exactly what I was letting myself in for. Saying that I did buy it elsewhere and paid more than the gameplay price which added more insult to injury. Basically if you read the product description then yes it does exactly what it says on the box - allows you to play PS2 games in higher resolution on your PC monitor. What it doesn't state clearly is that not every game will work and the sheer hell of setting the thing up. For starters there is no pc/ps2 switch on the adaptor so each time you need to swap back to your PC or PS2 you have to muck about with not only a monitor lead but also the speaker leads which is no small feat. However this is a small annoyance when compared to the next problem - each time you want to play a game (or each time you turn on the PS2) you have to insert a seperate program disc supplied with the adapter. And then there is the final blow: when you finally get the game running (in this case FINAL FANTASY X - listed as one of the games that works) you get distorted lines at the bottom and side of the screen which means you have to change the screen settings on your monitor. And needless to say if you go back to using it for the PC you have to change it all back again. This was the point where I threw the whole thing back in the box and posted it back to the supplier for a refund. The only way I would recommend this product is if you have a permanent setup of a PC Monitor with no PC linked to it and don't mind swapping discs over each time you turn the PS2 on. Which I imagine isn't the majority of us.
