Trauma Center: Under the Knife, conocido en Japón como Chōshittō Caduceus (超執刀 カドゥケウス, Chōshittō Kadukeus), es un videojuego de simulación médica desarrollado y distribuido por Atlus para la consola Nintendo DS, siendo el primer juego de la saga de Trauma Center. Llegó al mercado el 30 de junio de 2005 en Japón, el 4 de octubre de 2005 en Estados Unidos y el 26 de abril de 2006 en Europa.

El primer ‘Trauma Center’ que apareció en nuestras vidas nos dejó un muy buen sabor de boca a los que lo disfrutamos. Un título ‘de médicos’ para una consola como la DS que no era casual en absoluto, en el que la dificultad iba progresando paulatinamente hasta llegar a un punto en el que o uno se ha convertido en una máquina de operar y manejar el stylus o lo pasa realmente mal para seguir adelante.

Después de casi dos años desde que apareciera en el mercado europeo y de haber visto como Wii ha recibido un par de entregas (‘Trauma Center: Second Opinion’ y ‘Trauma Center: New Blood’) se confirma una secuela para este título de DS titulada, de forma muy poco original, ‘Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2’. Con él volverá el Dr. Stiles, que tendrá que hacer frente a los efectos y enigmas dejados por el virus GUILT.

el juego está traducido por gente muy amable que no cobra por ello, por lo que no lo encontrarás en español al comprarlo

Ni ha salido el trauma center 2, ni ha salido el Trauma Team en Europa (y es una lástima porque la saga me encanta). Lo que lees es una traducción hecha por fans. Los originales, por ahora, no queda más remedio que importarlos y jugarlos en ingles (salvo que tengas el aparato que te permita dumpear tu propio juego original, pero permiteme que lo dude).
