Have you already voted for the best fiasco of the year? Nearly 6,500 people have already done so through our website
http://www.fiascoawards.com, and in two weeks Fiasco Awards 2010 has surpassed the total number of votes recorded in the last edition!
There is stiff competition to see who will be the successor of Windows Vista, the best fiasco of 2009. The Internet is buzzing now with intense debate in forums, blogs and social networks over who of the 8 finalists will take the prized award. Twitter has registered more than 1,500 references to the awards in the last month.
Among the discussion about the nominees, the Fiasco Awards Team (FAT) has received comments from fans questioning the nomination of iPAD when it is not currently on the market. Another group of fans regrets that Google Buzz, one of Google’s latest Facebook style inventions, is not among the nominees. Undoubtedly, this will be a good candidate for FA'11.
The voting period is still open to everyone until March 10th, so forward it to your contacts so they have time to vote!
Remember that the winners will be announced at the Awards Party on March 11th. The FAT has invited the creators of the finalists´ projects, such as Sony’s CEO, Mr. Howard Stringer, Apple’s chairman, Mr. Steve Jobs, and Google’s CEO, Mr. Eric Schmidt. We look forward to their (and your!) presence at the party.
See you on March 11th!
