500,000,000 Results Returned to Accelerate Research!

World Community Grid announces that members have returned more than 500 million results.


Congratulations Members! We are very excited to announce that World Community Grid volunteers have now returned more than 500 Million results! Results are what come out of each unit of work that you "crunch" on your computer and are sent to the researchers for analysis. At the present time, members are returning approximately 6 results to World Community Grid every second!!!

Our sincerest appreciation goes out to the 520,000+ registered members who run World Community Grid on their computers. These computers have provided more than 380,000 years of run time toward important research. We are extremely grateful for your contributions. Without them, this compute power would not be available for the very important research work we are helping to accelerate.
