pues eso que hay un fallo referente a al coded xvid:
XVID & XBMP 2
As some people already noticed the latest xvid codec used in XBMP has problems with XVID encoded movies using QPEL
I've contacted the XVID guys and they are very busy with it, but no ETA when a solution will be ready
Luckily XBMP contains 2 XVID codecs so you can try the 'other' one. This helps in many cases.
Ok, how 2 switch between the 2 codecs
First of all, open the codecs.conf with a text editor
then find these lines:
videocodec xvid
info "Xvid (MPEG-4)"
status working
fourcc DIVX,divx
fourcc xvid,XVID,XviD
change the last to
; fourcc xvid,XVID,XviD
this disables the xvid codec from the xvid guys.
Next search for
videocodec ffodivx
info "FFmpeg MPEG-4"
status working
fourcc DIVX,divx
fourcc DIV1,div1 divx
fourcc MP4S,mp4s ; ISO MPEG-4 Video V1
fourcc M4S2,m4s2
fourcc xvid,XVID,XviD,XVIX
and make sure the last line doesn't contain a ;
So it should look as above
this enables the ffmpeg xvid codec
Now copy the new codecs.conf to your xbox and try your xvid movie again!
