* The game was released earlier today (16). Seemingly (sadly) no Asian (outside of Japan) version is published...
* AtlusTube uploaded a battle video to demonstrate the simplified battle mode and included in today's blog. The battle speed is even quicker than PSX version and IS PSP's skip mode.
* The remixed battle theme starts with a weird synth instrument, luckily it's not too offending. And now the battle music sounds more like a battle theme than the original version.
* Loading is faster, but it's still recommended to install data to even reduce the loading time.
* You can hold O button to fast-forward the dialogues and press START to skip cut-scene movie.
* The difficulty of IS PSP is an insult to player's wisdom. EP PSP reverted the normal difficulty to to the reasonable level. Hard difficulty not only increases enemy attack damage, it also removes SP regeneration when walking in dungeon.
* Battle menu and mechanism reverted to the PS version with some improvements.
** The default "battle mode" is "single" which stops the battle sequence after each turn for confirmation. You should change back to the classic "normal" mode to allow the battle loops indefinitely until you cancel it.
** R button serves as shortcut component for quick command input. the combinations are different per each section of the battle menu.
*** R-START is particular useful to start the battle instantly after modifying party action command.
**Press triangle button to access Persona skill menu instantly; square button for Persona changing menu.
*** There's the "all defend" command (R+square) for player to deal with Old Maid attack more conveniently.
** High agility characters like Maya and Ulala can double-act again (which is removed from IS PSP). The downside is that the action order will be reverted each turn, it also means that you have to re-order Fusion Spell each turn if you want to repeat it.
** The config menu in Battle is different than outside battle. You should turn off the "battle start confirmation" option at the bottom, it's just needless.
*** Fusion Spell cut-in looks slightly better than IS PSP but still drags the battle pace, so you should turn it off in the battle config as well.
Lo siento, están en inglés y no me apetece mucho traducir
Y de momento ninguna notícia de que salga fuera de Japón...
