WKrellM is a system monitor based on GKrellM by Bill Wilson. It follows the same layout and uses the same themes as GKrellM, but it's code was independently developed by me. It shares none of the GKrellM code. It also does not use the GTK+ library, but uses the native Windows libraries. It is therefore quicker and smaller than the GKrellM port to Windows that I did.
My aim in creating this was to alleviate many of the problems that plague the GKrellM port. Most of the problems reported with GKrellM deal with two issues: running on non-English versions of Windows and failing to find performance measures, and GTK+ problems including crashes on screen lockups and DOS box popups on GTK+ warnings and errors.
By using the standard Windows libraries I can controll all aspects of the program. There will not be the GTK+ popup boxes. Also, to alleviate the language problem, I've allowed the user to browse for the performance monitor item needed rather than specifying it in a file.
Themes:
WKrellM uses the standard GKrellM themes, except that xpm images will not be used. You can place the theme anywhere you want and browse to the directory in the configuration screen. Or you can place each theme in its own directory in the application directory and it will show up on the theme quick pick list in the configuration screen.
Por lo que he leido usa librerias de windows, ¿eso no significa que es de codigo cerrado?¿o por lo menos una parte?
Voy a buscar en google a ver si encuentro la pagina oficial por que me le baje de una muy rara.
