[Hablemos de...] RPG en Playstation 4

Pille el Tales Of Zestiria, y llevo unas 10 horas de juego y me he aburrido. La primera vez que me pasa esto con un RPG... :(
@carmelero De puta madre Steins;Gate es mi novela visual favorita ^^

@I2acso Mejora muchísimo después ^^
Ahora ya oficial

PQube will release Steins;Gate 0 for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in North America and Europe in 2016, the publisher announced.

The visual novel will appear at London MCM Comic-Con this weekend, with a trailer playing as part of the trailer reel at the Rice Digital booth. If you’re in attendance, whisper “El Psy Kongroo” to the staff and you’ll get a free Steins;Gate 0 poster.

Steins;Gate 0 is a sci-fi visual novel that explores a branch of one of Steins;Gate‘s alternate endings. It sees Rinataro Okabe and the Future Gadget Lab members, along with new characters, star in a story about AI and the creation of something called “Amadeus,” which allows users to interact with the stored memories of another person.

PQube did not announce plans to localize the PlayStation 3 version of Steins;Gate 0.

Buen hilo! Me suscribo.

Gaijinworks is bringing Summon Night 6: Lost Borders to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in North America, South America, and Europe in Q1 2017, the company announced.

The game will release both physically at retail and digitally via the PlayStation Store in North America, and digital-only in South America and Europe. A limited edition deluxe physical version only available via the Gaijinworks official website will also be released, with details due out after E3 2016.

Here’s an overview of the game, via Gaijinworks:

Summon Night 6: Lost Borders weaves an emotional tale of friendship and discovery that begins in the sparsely populated “cocoon world” of Fillujah, where the three main characters (Raj, Amu and Ist) live in virtual isolation. Each has a single companion, a flying sidekick with an amazing special power, and they are all surprised when dozens of strangers begin to suddenly appear—literally falling out of the clear, blue sky. Lost Borders can be played and enjoyed without any knowledge of the previous games in the series, but fans will recognize that the mysterious strangers are actually returning characters from all of the mainline Summon Night games.

Released in Japan as a celebration of the series’ 15th anniversary, Summon Night 6: Lost Borders offers gorgeous widescreen graphics presented in high definition, a first for the series. The fully 3-D battle system allows Chain Attacks that happen automatically when an enemy is surrounded by two or more allies; in these situations, each ally can hit the enemy without risk of counterattack. In addition to the Summons that are a hallmark of the series, two allies can team up for a breathtaking “Summon Burst” attack that invokes a devastating magical strike from one of many giant fantastical creatures.

Combat is only one part of the Summon Night 6 experience. The series is well known for its “night conversations”—one-on-one encounters where various characters confide in one another, leading to a web of elaborate, emotional storytelling with many different branching paths. Lost Borders also includes several charming mini-games: One has you fishing for different types of aquatic creatures, while another involves cooking power-up meals using the bounty you’ve caught with your fishing pole.

The game features more than a dozen endings, many of which have sub-endings that can change depending on the player’s affinity level with a particular character. “Summon Night 6 is one of our biggest projects to date,” Gaijinworks president Victor Ireland explains. “It has enough text to fill about five novels—over 50% more than the huge volume of text that Summon Night 5 had.” Adding to the enormity of the localization task is the fact that the English-language version of Summon Night 6 will feature voice acting: All key events will be voiced, as in the original Japanese version. Recording of the English voice begins this month.

Falcom wants to release Ys VI on PS4
Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo wants to release Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim for PlayStation 4, he told the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation.

“There was a desire within the development staff working on Ys I & II Eternal Story at the time to gain strength working on a completely new title in the series, so we decided on the development of VI as the numbered title following V,” Kondo told Dengeki PlayStation.

Kondo continued, “Ys VI has already been ported to consumer devices outside of PC, but since over 10 years have already passed since its release in 2003, I want to put it on PlayStation hardware in some form.”

Finally, Kondo teased, “While there aren’t any plans right now, if we do it, I think it will be on PlayStation 4.”

Tokyo Xanadu eX+ announced for PS4

PS4 version adds after story, side stories, and new party characters.
Falcom is bringing its PS Vita action RPG Tokyo Xanadu to PlayStation 4 in the form of Tokyo Xanadu eX+, the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation reveals. It will launch in Japan on September 8 for 6,480 yen.

image: http://gematsu.com/wp-content/uploads/2 ... S4-Ann.jpg

Tokyo Xanadu eX+

The original Tokyo Xanadu launched last September in Japan. It is set in the fictional Morimiya city on the outskirts of Tokyo and depicts the activities of a group of “Qualified” high school students who use “Soul Devices” to battle against creatures known as “Greed” in the “Other World.”

The PlayStation 4 version of the game will run in full HD at 60 frames per second. It will include an after-story set several months after the events of the main game and side stories for each character (with the exception of Kou). The additional story volume is said to be equal to about two chapters of the main story.

There are also new playable characters, including White Shroud and “Technique Unleashed State Asuka,” as well as others. White Shroud can explore dungeons on his own and uses the Light attribute, which is strong against all others outside of Shadow. He has high basic parameters and superior shooting, flight, and strength skills.

Other additions include a “Calamity” difficulty mode (for a total of five difficulties: Beginner, Normal, Advanced, Elite, and Calamity), and Boss Time Attack and Boss Rush modes. Cross-save with the PS Vita version is not supported.

Touhou Genso Wanderer

NIS America is bringing Touhou Genso Wanderer, released in Japan as Mystery Gensokyo: The Tower of Desire, to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita both physically and digitally in early 2017, the company announced.

The roguelike RPG puts players in control of Hakurei Shrine Maiden Reimu, who must investigate the latest incident to take place in the world of Gensokyo.

Here’s the rundown, via NIS America.

About the Game

In this roguelike RPG, you will take control of Reimu, the Hakurei Shrine Maiden, to investigate the latest incident to take place in the world of Gensokyo. Along the way, you’ll encounter a variety of characters from the Touhou Project universe, discover mountains of loot—each piece of which is valuable thanks to the game’s item fusion system—and test your mettle with your favorite Touhou girl in tow as your adventuring partner in this approachable take on the roguelike genre.

About the Story

One day, Reimu Hakurei is visiting Rinnosuke Morichika at his shop, Kourindo. He shows her one of his prized possessions, the golden sphere. However, when she touches it, it unleashes a mysterious beam of light. Rinnosuke starts acting strange, and a giant tower now stands where Kourindo used to be. The population of Gensokyo has also been replicated by clones who attack people on sight. As the Hakurei Shrine Maiden, it is Reimu’s duty to resolve this latest incident and bring peace back to Gensokyo.

Along the way, she is joined by Futo Mononobe, who has recently set out on a quest to become a first class sage. With her partner in tow, can Reimu make her way through the dungeons of the tower and put an end to this incident?

Stardew Valley is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U in Q4 2016, developer ConcernedApe announced.

The console versions are being handled by Chucklefish and Sickhead Games. In a blog post, ConcernedApe said that they’re working to make sure the game’s jump to console controllers is “intuitive and effortless,” as “rudimentary controller support in the PC version is far from ideal, and it will need to be adjusted prior to the launch.”

Stardew Valley is currently available on PC via Steam.

Fault Milestone One and Rabi-Ribi coming to PS4, PS Vita

Two new Sekai Project games for PlayStation platforms.
Fault Milestone One and Rabi-Ribi are coming to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita courtesy of Sekai Project, the publisher announced at E3 2016.

Here are overviews for both, via the PlayStation Blog:

Fault is a series of Science Fantasy Cinematic Novels using a unique 3D Camera system for a visually immersive reading experience, which follow the story of a princess named Selphine and her Royal Guardian Ritona. When a sudden assault devastates their homeland of Rughzenhaide, the two are forced to escape… but somehow end up teleported into an unknown forest full of vegetation they don’t recognize. The atmosphere is thick and heavy. There is no sign of life, which is very unusual for such a lush forest. Something is wrong about the land… But they are too startled to notice what. Sekai Project and Limited Run Games are honored to announce our first partnership game, Fault Mileestone, to be available console exclusive to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. The porting duties are handled by Mighty Rabbit Studios, and will feature new music and content! The game will also be available in a limited physical run.

We at Sekai Project along with CreSpirit are proud to announce Rabi-Ribi is coming to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita this winter, and is console exclusive to PlayStation platforms! There never quite seem to be enough bunny girls in the world, so here is another for you aficionados out there. This 2D sidescrolling exploration platformer follows the adventure of Erina, whose humdrum life as a regular rabbit is turned upside-down when she finds herself in an unknown world and turned into a human (with rabbit ears)! Along the way she meets the cheerful pink-haired fairy, Ribbon, who mysteriously chooses to stay by Erina’s side. These unwitting heroes embark together on their quest to restore Erina’s life to normalcy, but who knows what troubles lurk, waiting for them… Erina may be a little rabbit that was turned into a human, but that doesn’t stop her from being capable of some pretty neat moves. This enhanced version goes deep into the rabbit hole and will feature all new music, all previous content from the PC version along with brand new, exciting gameplay content!
@carmelero Yo te agradezo muchísimo que pongas ese tipo de juegos ^^
muy poco han enseñado en el e3 hasta ahora no? que bajona.. [burla3]

http://www.novacrystallis.com/2016/06/nomura-talks-kingdom-hearts-iii-and-hd-2-8/

In an interview with Famitsu during E3 2016, Kingdom Hearts series director Tetsuya Nomura shed some light on the upcoming Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, focusing on some of the finer details in the three story collection as well as touched on the long awaited Kingdom Hearts III.

Below are the main points from the interview (translation courtesy of Gematsu, KH13):

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep 0.2 -A Fragmentary Passage-

Nomura discussed how they can easily alter the game thanks to Unreal Engine 4, especially in regards to lighting.
What’s in the E3 2016 show floor demo will be in the final version of the game. He wanted to give players something to explore, somewhere they’d have to get high up to get a feel for the area before proceeding. Nomura says Kingdom Hearts III will have a similar feel to it, where free-running to high places and figuring out the map will be necessary.
Nomura says that time has stopped in this place only, and that moving to different locations will result in different “effects.”
Regarding the battle system, Nomura says that the concept of Command Styles from Birth by Sleep has been transferred to Keyblade Transformations in Kingdom Hearts III.
Nomura calls the Heartless Swarm a “Devil’s Wave,” and mentions that they’ve been present since the first Kingdom Hearts III trailer at E3 2013, and that they’re still not at full power.
Aqua will only gain strength through leveling up. There are no new Keyblades for her to obtain.
When discussing the length of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep 0.2 -A Fragmentary Passage-, Nomura states that it will feature a lot of cutscenes.
The intended play order, according to Nomura, is Dream Drop Distance, then -A Fragmentary Passage-, then Kingdom Hearts III.
Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep 0.2 -A Fragmentary Passage- is not entirely scrapped content from Kingdom Hearts III. It was something Nomura felt the need to make, but he didn’t want to slow down the pace of storytelling in Kingdom Hearts III with a lot of backstory, so he cut it out and created a separate installment based upon it.
Kingdom Hearts III will have a short prelude before the game fully begins to make sure everyone is caught up with the story.
Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance HD

Nomura discussed the Catanuki, explaining that it was something the Osaka team really wanted to add to the game. He also discusses the addition of PlayStation 4 Trophies, the game now running at 60 frames per second, and the difficulties in transitioning Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance into to a game without two screens to work with. He also mentioned the “spirit” of developing for the unique elements of the 3DS continues in now developing for the unique elements of PlayStation 4.
Kingdom Hearts χ: Back Cover

Kingdom Hearts χ: Back Cover is being developed with the same tech as Kingdom Hearts III.
Famitsu asked if the Black Coat is the Foreteller’s Master. According to Nomura, it is. He is a “unique glue” between them, and apparently has nicknames for each of the Foretellers.
Kingdom Hearts: Unchained χ recently hit four million downloads in North America, and after release there was an increasing demand to release it in Europe. He is very happy for this chapter of Kingdom Hearts to be brought to fans around the world.
Nomura hints that the Kingdom Hearts: Unchained χ story will soon branch from the Kingdom Hearts χ story. Kingdom Hearts χ is complete, but Kingdom Hearts: Unchained χ can be considered a second part.
Nomura indicates that Kingdom Hearts III may hit Japan slightly earlier than the rest of the world, but it will be nearly simultaneous in when it releases.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue is in the final stages of production, with English recording currently being mastered and timed. He also told fans to please be patient and wait until this winter for new Kingdom Hearts III information to be released, and to focus on Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue in the mean time.
Next year is the 15th anniversary of Kingdom Hearts, and also the 30th anniversary of Final Fantasy; he told fans to anticipate a lot of features next year relating to those series, and that he wants to liven things up, starting with Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue will be available December 2016 for PlayStation 4. Kingdom Hearts III is in development for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

XSeed Games has recently shared a new trailer for Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity. The game is a independent spin-off RPG based on the shmup franchise. [Thanks, Operation Rainfall.]

Here’s a look at the official trailer, as well as some additional information on Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JA_3dYMUU9c

Immortality can be boring. At 500 years old, the so-called “Scarlet Devil,” Remilia Scarlet, is desperately searching for something new to end the monotony. After stumbling upon a newspaper article about a powerful, mysterious monster terrorizing the countryside, she rushes out to see if this could finally be the excitement for which she yearns. Unfortunately, not only is she unsuccessful in her search for the monster, but she returns to find her manor in ruins. It would seem the monster has come to her! With a renewed sense of determination (and a much-needed respite from her boredom), she vows to take revenge on this fiend and make it pay!
