Silent Hill: The Short Message. Me esperaba algo bastante peor. Es casi una miniserie de 2 horas con algo de gameplay, pero la ambientación, la música, la trama... no están nada mal.
Silent Hill 2. Brutal. La gran sorpresa del año. Los amantes del género llevamos una semana de fiesta con este lanzamiento. Tengo cero pegas. Conocía el rollo por haber jugado el primero de PS1, no conocía el 2, y este remake me ha volado la cabeza. Nadie esperaba que se sintiera tan tan tan bien. VIsualmente precioso, historia genial contada, combate muy bien llevado... Deseando que Bloober se ponga con 1 y 3 más pronto que tarde.

El RE Revelations 2 pues bueno se le nota la edad pero es disfrutable, el tema de jugar con los 4 personajes, árbol de mejoras etc lo hace interesante. El primer DLC me pareció un truño es puro reciclaje de escenarios a lo barato para algo más de combate que no aporta nada. El segundo me pareció más interesante

Killzone 2...pues tanto oir hablar en su época de él, y mi ansia coleccionista, me han llevado a pillar una PS3 y una pequeña colección de juegos. Me lancé al KZ2 con ganas y la verdad que menuda decepción, el input lag brutal lo hace casi injugable, y los bajonazos a 20fps tampoco ayudan. Lo empecé en la dificultad 3/4 y es un absurdo los enemigos son esponjas de balas, y realmente la dificultad es conseguir apuntar sin que te explote el cerebro con el input lag salvaje. Me he pasado así casi todo el juego pero al llegar a la segunda mitad de último nivel, la entrada al palacio, lo he bajado a la dificultad 2/4 para no estampar el mando. Respawn infinito de enemigos, compañeros lerdos que o se quedan parados o se te cruzan, solo poder llevar un arma y la pistola, paleta de colores demasiado oscura (para camuflar defectos?)....se salva la música, el doblaje, y poco más. Una pena no haber podido usar el dualshock 4 porque tiene UNA funcionalidad que requiere la inclinación y eso no es compatible con el DS4 en PS3 (ni el botón Home, otra chapuza de Sony).

Más de un mes enfrascado en este juego. Unas 80 horas me ha llevado. Botw a la enésima potencia. Sinceramente me esperaba menos, todo el mundo le daba bombo a la ultramano y a las construcciones cuando a mi era la parte que menos me interesaba, pero es que el juego es mucho más que solo eso. El mapa, mucho más a rebosar de cosas que en botw, la exploración del cielo, los abismos, los secretos, la fusión... Como parte negativa, únicamente pondría que el abismo se hace demasiado repetitivo, y la historia, pues prácticamente me han dado ganas de saltar cada una de las cinemáticas. Por lo demás, un juego que deja marcado y de los pocos que al terminar (y eso que no es corto) te deja con muchas ganas de más

Precioso y conmovedor. Lo nuevo de Nomada Studio supera las pequeñas imperfecciones de Gris, donde al igual que en éste, su aspecto artístico era lo más llamativo de la obra. En Neva se ha optado por un grafismo minimalista para representar a nuestros protagonistas, sin contornos de línea, más bien representados por bloques de color, al igual que sus complejos fondos. El hecho de que el juego se divida en cuatro capítulos representados por las estaciones del año hace variar cada paleta de colores. Se aleja del estilo más de acuarela de Gris, dándole así una entidad propia a Neva.

El videojuego Journey lanzado hace más de una década marcó el camino. Muchos han sido los juegos que han imitado su estilo y Neva rinde un claro homenaje a la joya de Thatgamecompany. Este tipo de juegos pretenden emocionar al jugador, con una experiencia más personal y humana con unos claros valores sobre la vida, la muerte o el amor incondicional hacia un ser querido. El gameplay en Neva sigue siendo muy básico, aunque ahora se hayan incluído elementos de lucha contra enemigos, esto no es un Dark Souls, y el juego sigue siendo un paseo. Tampoco pretende ser un juego difícil (ni mucho menos), ya que obviamente es un juego enfocado para cualquiera que quiera apreciar una buena obra interactiva y llegarle a la patata. Cada nuevo capítulo suele incluir alguna nueva mecánica, dándole así variedad y ritmo al juego. Potencia mucho más las ideas básicas presentadas en Gris, dándole mayor originalidad al juego. Es un juego corto (3 horas aprox), considero que tiene una duración correcta, dado que al tener unas mecánicas sencillas, alargarlo hubiera sido contraproducente debido a que terminaría resultando repetitivo.

La tarea de la música se encomienda de nuevo a Berlinist y lo bordan, encontrando la melodía justa para cada situación. Es difícil evitar emocionarse en los momentos álgidos de Neva la verdad, el vínculo emocional que construimos hacia el animal que nos acompaña casi alcanzan el amor que sentimos hacia Trico en The Last Guardian. Neva concluye con un final precioso que no dejará indiferente a nadie. Nomada Studio han vuelto a demostrar que son uno de los mejores estudios nacionales (con permiso de The Game Kitchen y MercurySteam). Si os van las aventuras emocionales Neva os llegará al corazón.

- Lies of P (Series X) [plas] > Juegarral, lo mejor del género después de DS3, Bloodborne y Sekiro. No le falta nada, ni le sobra nada. Estoy pensando darle otra vuelta y eso lo hago con muy poquitos juegos.

En cuánto le den un poco de cariño (parches) al Wukong me pongo con él, lo chinos están muy "on fire" con los Soulslike.

  • Parappa the Rapper Remastered: segunda vuelta después de disfrutarlo en MiSTer este mismo año. Mola el lavado de cara aunque una pena el contraste que hace con las cinemáticas que son las mismas de PS1.
  • Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice: nada mal. Pelijuego con puzles, bastante agobiante con las voces al con auriculares. Graficamente muy bestia, dentro del catálogo de PS4 se acerca a TLOU II. No creo que repita y tampoco me llama continuar con la segunda parte.
  • Death's Door: inevitable no compararlo con Tunic. Gráficamente son casi calcados, sistema de juego bastante parecido, pero se queda muy por detrás del zorrito. Aún así bastante disfrutable con sus 9-10 horitas de run.

Me ha gustado mucho, el combate mejora enormemente respecto al primero, más espectacular y enfocado a la acción. Además aporta cosas interesantes a nivel argumental y fanservice.

Ya estoy preparado para Alan Wake 2, que sale mañana en físico XD

THE DARK PICTURES: THE DEVIL IN ME - 6,5
Aunque sigue sin alcanzar el nivel de Until Dawn en su día (y diría que ni siquiera el de The Quarry), The Devil in Me me parece el mejor juego de la hasta ahora tetralogía The Dark Pictures. Que todo gire en torno a un asesino en serie real y se aleje de asuntos paranormales le da aire fresco y genera mucho mayor interés e intriga del conseguido con las tres entregas anteriores, y sobretodo tiene el primer elenco de personajes con los que consigues empatizar lo suficiente para que sus muertes te importen algo (creo que se ve muy beneficiado por que no sean, esta vez, adolescentes, pero tampoco lo eran en el anterior y no funcionaban en absoluto). Mecánicamente el control se siente además más agil y menos robótico.
Ahora bien, sigue siendo un juego con problemas dificiles de ignorar: esa agilidad no se ha trasladado a la observación de objetos, una mecánica principal que sigue siendo ortopédica y lenta, además de incluír un coleccionable con cero sentido que sólo entorpece. Hay un par de tramos realmente tediosos por que el juego no deja claro el camino por el que ir, rompiendo el ritmo, las muertes se siguen decidiendo por detalles puntuales algo aleatorios (hay QTE de puro adorno, otros son instakill, y en cuanto a las decisiones la sensación es que no tienen excesiva importancia en la trama, si bien tendría que rejugarlo para asegurarlo y no creo que lo haga), y la historia, muy bien presentada, va perdiendo fuerza en el tramo final.
