Al parecer el nuevo firmware no es tan simple como se pensaba:

Gamersmint has discovered a few of the stuff that the recently released Firmware update 3.56 fixes. The most important of the lot is that they have fixed the ECDSA signature bug.
This means, private keys will become useless for anyone who downloads this firmware update or any future ones released after this.
Sony’s also fixed the downgrading with this update and it’s no longer possible (without new hardware) to do so.

a mi tampoco me quedo muy claro jaajajajja xD pero ya mas o menos si que si actualizas al 3.56 no podras utilizar el homebreak que tenias en 3.55 ni con custom de 3.56 ni nada por ahora... xDD

No se mucho ingles pero esto me huele a que bloquearan el acceso al psn (negrita)..... :( si me equivoco que me corrigan
supuestamente sony agrego ciertas "cosas" ocultas en su nuevo OFW, las mas importantes es que ya no se puede hacer un downgrade a no ser que se haga con un hardware especial, esto es lo que se ha dicho por ahora y esta en estudio, asi que yo recomiendo no aventurarse con este FW

me llama mucho la atencion la parte endonde dice que solo se podra instar homebrew desde 3.55 para ser usado en 3.56 pero no es posible hacer un downgrade.
entonces hay que escoger muy bien el homebrew que se desea tener en 3.56 ya que una vez ahi no se podra instalar nada mas.

Lo que dice es que las consolas que tenga Homebrew firmado instalado en la 3.55 o anteriores seguira fucionando ya que el nuevo firm firma con nuevas claves ese software, pero que nada se va a poder instalar sobre consolas con firm 3.56. Es decir, si tiene una con 3.56 sin nada instalado, o consigues hacerla un downgrade o te puedes ir olvidando de homebrew de la forma que se ha visto hasta ahora. Más o menos cuenta que viene con un nuevo sistema de cifrado que firma lo anterior para hacerlo compatible pero invalida el futuro uso de las claves que se tienen.

Sony bloqueo la forma de hacer Downgrade con esta actualizacion , asi que no va a ser posible, ah no ser que se use algun tipo de Hardware......pero definitivamente por Software no.

la unica diferencia de lo que dices con respecto al psp es que aunque ya haya salido un OFW 6.37 para esta consola aun teniendo el CFW 6.35 firmado puedes acceder a la store y jugar online que te parece

No no, yo me referia a la hora de instalar un CFW. Si no tienes uno anterior al actual, normalmente tienes que downgradear. Aqui en PS3 sera igual, habra que mantener un FW inferior siempre para poder instalar un CFW.

P.D.: Dios cuanto hace que no entro? Asi estan las cosas en PSP? Si yo me quede en la 5.XX m-33!! (Ni recuerdo cual era XD)

ESTO quiere decir, que si yo me quiero poner la OFW 3.56, teniendo el CFW de kmeaw, y paso primero al OFW 3.55, y luego instalo el 3.56, no tendre PSN? o si seguire teniendo psn?

En otro hilo hancomentado que han actualizado de CFW 3.55 a OFW 3.56 sin problemas y PSN funcionando.
No pero no quiero hacerlo desde CFW 3.55...

Pregunto si podria volver al 3.55, instalar el 3.56 y no tener ningun problema

kon diferencia ke la psp usa servidores diferentes a la ps3 y es mas facil... en cambio en la ps3 komo la tengas conectada a internet estas jodido el caso es ke la peña kiere jugar online XD
me e estado informando un poco y saldra un .bat ke convierte la version original de sony previamente descargada en CFW3.56 pero antes ai ke parchear ese archivo creado... el caso es:
donde estan esos archivos? abra ke esperar!! yo esperare a kmeaw saque algo ke he probado varios y es el mejor para mi opinion ;)

No creo que se pase al otro lado pq si no estamos apañados, ya que si no me equivoco el CFW de Kmeaw es una modificación del CFW de Gehot....
