Pregunta de Xploit :D please

Bien, ando una temporada fuera del exploit...y ya me mirado los UDE1, UDE2 y UXE.... weno... todo muy bien y tal :D

Pero mi pregunta es....se le puede poner un exploit a la Xbox Crystal en condiciones ? y en su caso cual de los exploits le va mejor ?:P

Los mejor es ponerle el Uber (supongo que sera el UXE, Uber Xbe Exploit)) que chuta con todas, incluso las crystal.

Se le aplica el exploit a la Xbox sobre la dashboard de la crystal? porque si mal no recuerdo si la degradamos daba error >.<..... asi que.... si hay alguien que le haya metido el exploit a la crystal que me diga ^_^


Por lo demas...si se puede con el UXE....genial tonces :D

Required:

- An update.xbe file from MS dashboard version 4920. There are two
supported versions:
* The special UXE update.xbe:
- update.xbe has file size 1994752 and md5sum
9f94df3c5d180f8dc16c9fd1d74fded9.
- works with all kernels (3944-5838) and all regions.

* MS dashboard 4920 with directory xboxdashdata.10027100
- update.xbe has file size 1914880 and md5sum
73402a42463766842e56e82b839d5669.
- only works with kernels 5530 and less.

* MS dashboard 4920 with directory xboxdashdata.1012A700
- update.xbe has file size 1974272 and md5sum
8ab653c39f555758fb65d9014928c4cd.
- only works with kernels 5530 and less.

* The game NFL Fever 2003 !Live content has/had an update.xbe:
- update.xbe has file size 1916928 and md5sum
b2875da022264e19107db4fb1f7af1db.
- works with all kernels (3944-5838).
- only for US/CANADA region.

- Your own default.xbe you wish to run after boot up. This may
be e.g. an executable for a replacement dashboard or a boot loader
(Linux boot loader, Phoenix BIOS Loader etc.) The file default.xbe
must be signed with the HABIBI-key (you can sign with the xbedump
program.)


The exploit itself depends on one additional file, bert_ate_ernie.

The directory fonts/s1914880 contains files for the 1914880-byte update.xbe.
The directory fonts/s1974272 contains files for the 1974272-byte update.xbe.
The directory fonts/s1994752 contains files for the 1994752-byte update.xbe.
The directory fonts/nfl-fever-2003-us-s1916928 contains files for the
NFL Fever 2003 US/CANADA update.xbe.


Quick installation guide:
-------------------------

You should first set language to English in the original dashboard's settings
menu. If you fail to do so, it may very well be that this exploit won't work.

1. Rename your current C:\xboxdash.xbe to C:\orig-xboxdash.xbe

2. Copy update.xbe to C:\xboxdash.xbe

3. Rename C:\fonts directory to C:\f0nts (note the ZERO!)

4. Create directory C:\fonts

5. Select a bert_ate_ernie file corresponding to your update.xbe version and
your kernel version. E.g. if you have the 1974272-byte update.xbe and
kernel version 5101, select the file
fonts/s1974272/bert_ate_ernie-5101-01.xtf. Copy it to C:\fonts\. If you
can't find a bert_ate_ernie file for your kernel version, use
bert_ate_ernie-generic.xtf (however, see "Required" section above for
version restrictions.)

6. If you are using the 1914880-byte or NFL Fever US version update.xbe,
copy scraps.xtf to C:\fonts\.

7. Copy your own HABIBI-signed default.xbe to E:\default.xbe. This file
can be e.g. dashboard executable or Phoenix BIOS Loader executable.

8. Reboot. Your box should now run E:\default.xbe automatically.


If it doesn't, double check everything. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR XBOX FOR EXTENDED
PERIODS OF TIME IN A STATE WHERE IT CANNOT BOOT INTO A DASHBOARD. Especially
do not unplug the Xbox in such a state. If you do, your Xbox may not boot
even a DVD game disc (007/MechAssault/Splinter Cell) upon the next power up
and will then probably need to be opened to recover. So if things don't work
out, reverse steps 1 and 3.

NOTE: do not change the order of steps 5 and 6. For kernel version specific
bert_ate_ernies this is important (bert_ate_ernie must appear first in the
actual directory data on the disk), but doesn't matter for
bert_ate_ernie-generic.


Basicamente necesitas:

[*]Un update.xbe (existen parches para "transformar" el update.xbe de las diferentes versiones del dash a la version UXE) y renombralo a xboxdash.xbe.
[*]Renombrar tu carpeta Fonts a F0nts (la o es un cero)
[*]Crear una nueva carpeta fonts y le metes el xploit correspondiente a la version de tu consola
[*]Un Phoenix Bios Loader o similar firmado con la clave HABIBI (xbedump)

Venga, que vaya bien...
Instálale el UXE, usando el zxbinstaller, en 5 minutos la tendrás modificada, sin necesitar nada más.

Pero has probado sobre una Xbox Crystal? :D ....es que la crystal es la que siempre por algun lugar da problemo

si la consola esta sin modificar (virgen) da ingual que le meta el zxbinstaller xq no lo le xq es codigo sin firmar el UXE todavia no esta muy perfeccionado por lo que creo pero vamos que en cuanto salga un package nuevo lo mirare

Weno, el asunto es modificar la consola "virgen"... a traves de hotswap con otra...para asi poder lanzar codigo sin firmar y asi poder usar el zxbinstaller :P, y por tanto poder meterle el UXE..... la pregunta del millon es si la crystal lo pilla bien..:P. Porque el kernel raro de la crystal y el no admitir degradado de dashboard de buenas a primeras me causa dudas....

Ojala que se pueda :D....si el UXE funciona con la crystal....por fin tendriamos el exploit perfecto :P
El UXE sirve para la crystal, de hecho llevo ya seis consolas crystal modificadas, e incluso cambiándoles el disco duro, y sin problemas.

me gustaria ayudarte pero yo vivo en mexico asi que todas las consolas a las que les he metido el xploit son ntsc

yo utilizo el ude2-complete ( mide 5.6 megas ) y todo de maravilla

he probado consolas desde 1.0 hasta 1.6 cristal y sin problemas

me parece que tambien ahi un uxe-complete que hace los mismo pero tambien va en consolas pal

este xploit viene sin msdah de $m asi que si quieren poner el dash original tendran que agarrar cualquier dash (yo utiliso el 5659 ) tienen que renombrar la carpeta de fonts del dash original a f0nts y tienen que parchear el dash original para que acepte la carpeta de f0nts. despues tiene que renombrar el xboxdash.xbe a antiguio_dash (por ejemplo )

ya solo queda copiar de nuevo todo a C (cuidado de no sobreescribir nada ) y agregar en la linea de dashborad del evox ( o del dash que utilizan) , el nombre de antiguo_dash.xbe y listo

para instalar este ude2-complete o uxe-complete se tiene que borrar todo el contenido de C ( por eso menciono lo de meter el dash original por medio de este metodo )

wenas, tengo por aki una Crystal ke kiero xploitear

le metí el pack de Wankes del UXE y el led hacia una secuencia de colores al arrancar y no arrancaba.

luego seguí un tutorial de metallica pa meterle el UDE2 y da error 21, no se si porke no tengo las fuentes adecuadas o por ke, ke fuentes hay ke tener para xploitear la Crystal (bert, ernie, xbox xbox book, donde, tamaños?)
