GTA Vice City, DUAL LAYERED
Since this is going to be dual layered , is there any chance you will still be able to copy this to a DVDr. Im getting the original anway, but just curious.

You cant copy dual layer unless u rip it to dvd.

u sure its dual layered? Cause from what i heard it is'nt ....one of my friends work at the local electronics store and they have it already...and from what ive heard the ps2 cant read game cds which are dual layered..

Xenosaga is a dual layered dvd. So the ps2 can read
without any problems dual layered dvd...

Xenosaga is only just past the normal 4.7gig size though at 5 gig or something just enough to stop domestic copying!

I thought a gold, gone gold etc meant the final version of the game had been burned for delivery to the manufacturers

...and atm you can only burn a single layer DVDR. If you want to press a dual layer disc you have to produce two DVDRs, labelled layer 0 and layer 1 (or dat tapes, or whatever)

If it is dual layer then it'll prolly be ripped (a couple of radio stations relinked to others or whatever)

If it isnt (the hidden files thing maybe) then... err... get a credit card?
