Hola.

Please have a look and join the Facebook group Pi2Jamma / Pi2SCART.
https://github.com/arcadeforge/RetroPieRGBhttp://regamebox.comThis is just constructive criticism because i really like RetroPie CRT Edition. The easy of use and that it's just tools and scripts for a more or less clean official RetroPie image is the best approach for everyone!
Thank you very much
@Redemp for your feedback, I'm glad to ear that...
As you mention, the target of this project was/is to have a regular Retropie working on CRT devices. Obviously this can fall in some limitations with retropie but, majority of functionalities work great and of course, is posible to have it updated without loosing our CRT integration scripts.
In regard of some wrong modelines, I suppose you are reffering at least to raiden2 (taken it from pi2scart facebook group) where seems that it needs specifically 55.4hz instead of 60hz that is setted in our DB.
You are right but, keep in mind that we have specifics databases for each MAME version and you (i assume) are using MAME2003 but, if you check our DB for MAME2010, frequency is ok.
That's mean that we try to give EXACTLY to each version of MAME what it expects... Probably in MAME2003 DB lacks some games and good information as part of natural evolution of MAME
You can try to get right version of raiden2 for mame2010 (romset 0.139) and try to play with this version, remember that in Retropie CRT Edition you can select on the fly diferent version of emulator/core by default or per game and, also remember MAME2010 has some issues with emulation in raspberry (probably hardware limitations).
Thanks again and hope you enjoy our distribution!
