Josh Scherr, Uncharted’s Cinematics Animation Lead believes that this was a team effort and “it was huge team effort. Characters, rendering, fx, background, programming, editorial, all insanely talented,” he tweeted. In fact he revealed that the “teaser’s entire was animated almost entirely by cinematics lead Eric Baldwin, including the facial animation.”
Eric Baldwin also spoke about how Naughty Dog are managing motion capture for Uncharted 4. “Definitely motion capture. Except for the fly.
Performance capture is the base for our performances,” Eric tweeted.
And finally the lead programmer at Naughty Dog, Christian Gyrling was all praise for the PlayStation 4 following the reveal of Uncharted 4.
