Hace más o menos un mes se desveló una lista de títulos de Dreamcast que haría su aparición en el servicio Xbox Live Arcade de 360. Entre ellos se contaban dos joyas como Sonic Adventure y Crazy Taxi.

La lista fue confirmada hace unos días cuando el Organismo de clasificación coreano listó los mencionados títulos en sus archivos. Hoy, al consultar la web de la Entertainment Software Rating Board o ESRB, encargada de clasificar los contenidos de todo el software de entretenimiento, nos hemos encontrado con que Sonic Adventure aparece también clasificado como contenido para PlayStation 3, además de para PC y Xbox 360.

Le temps est aux cross-over du coté de Capcom, du moins selon la dernière rumeur en date : un Street Fighter VS Tekken qui devrait être présenté lors de l'E3.

Si le tout a de quoi être surprenant, on rappelle tout de même que les deux éditeurs avaient pondu grâce à Monolith Software un Namco x Capcom sur PlayStation 2, un tactical s'étant vendu à l'époque (2005) à environ 150.000 exemplaires au Japon.

Valve boss Gabe Newell has said that whatever Valve’s surprise is for E3 next week is not (reiterate: not) Half Life 2: Episode Three.

In an email reply to a user from fansite Halflife2.net, Newell said the surprise “isn’t Ep 3″.

He went on to add in a later email that the teaser image that was discovered at the end of last week, which seemed to show that something was cooking regarding the final chapter of the HL2 saga, was “fake”.

Valve announced last week it had canceled its E3 event, which would have shown off Portal 2 for the first time, to instead be replaced by said surprise.

no se mucho de francés, asi que si alguien sabe y lo traduce mejor que mejor, pero según entiendo que pone, se rumorea un Street Fighter VS Tekken para el E3, por supuesto solo es un rumor, no muy fiable, pero un rumor, que al fin y al cabo este hilo trata de eso, ¿no? y si, huele bastante a improbable y a fake, pero bueno.

With E3 fever picking up, we're already starting to hear some amazing leaks about new announcements. Here's another one to chew on: A reliable source has indicated that Namco and Capcom are working together on a Tekken vs Street Fighter game. Even better: It could be announced as soon as E3.

This isn't the first time that Namco and Capcom have collaborated. In the past, they worked on Namco X Capcom, which was an action RPG game released on the PS2.

It's only natural that these two powerhouse developers of the best fighting game series are finally making the ultimate fighting game. Both companies in recent years have really gone out of their way to cater to fans of this genre. Namco threw some extra Star Wars characters into Soul Calibur, and Capcom of course has been doing big crossovers for sometime now. They recently announced a new Marvel vs Capcom game in the works as well.

Funny, it was only a couple of weeks ago that we were basking in the awesomeness of Tatsunoko vs Capcom, and speculating on what great VS concept Capcom should tackle next for a fighting game. Ironically enough, our wishlist was half done in jest because our heads would have exploded had any of them came true. I guess I need to prepare for my head to explode now.

We'll follow up with both companies on Monday to see if they have any comments on the game. I'm sure there are a ton of questions gamers are dying to know, with the main one being, "Will the game play more like Tekken or more like Street Fighter?

LucasArts is busy creating a next-gen Star Wars: Starfighter game - and could even reveal it at E3.

That's according to a US publishing source close to the Californian company, who today told CVG that a title is being readied for Xbox 360 and PS3.

The air combat/action Starfighter series was released in two iterations on PC, PS2 and Xbox.

The original game saw players protect Naboo from an invasion. Official PlayStation Magazine awarded the title 9/10.

The second game in the series, Star Wars Episode II: Jedi Starfighter, took place during the Battle of Geonosis.

A LucasArts spokesperson told us today that the news was "rumour and speculation".

We await E3's arrival with baited breath...

A source close to VG247 has revealed that Valve’s “surprise” at E3 will be the unveiling of Source Engine 2.
The source, who wished to remain anonymous, said that it’s possible that when unveiling the engine, Valve will be showing Half-Life 3 running on it – which would fit with the firm’s M.O. of showing the Half-Life games running on its engine.
Half-Life was shown running on GoldSource, while Source debuted in June 2004 with Counter-Strike and Half-Life 2 shown on it.
So, if Source 2 is indeed to be shown at E3, it’s quite possible that HL3 in its early stages could be shown running on the engine.
The source has also told us that with episodic content for Half-Life 2 not coming out as fast as Valve had hoped, Episode 3’s possible reveal could explain the long delay in content for the game.
Rumors surrounding what Valve plans to show at E3 has been swirling about since it canceled its Portal 2 event for the conference, stating that a “surprise” would instead be in store for attendees.
Last week, a suspicious looking image taken of the E3 pamphlet that supposedly showed a date of June 14 with the name “Freeman” on it when converted to negative format surfaced.
While very dodgy looking, it still got folks to talking, enough to have Valve head Gabe Newell confirm that it was indeed a “fake”.
We have been told by Valve PR that Gabe himself will not be attending E3, so we’re unsure who will make the reveal, should this information prove to be accurate.
It is worth noting, however, that we’ve also been told that whatever Valve plans to reveal at E3 will not happen before either the Microsoft or Sony press conferences on June 14 and 15, respectively. So it’s quite possible that whatever surprise it has in store could happen at one or both of those pressers.
Rest assured, we will be liveblogging both events, so be sure and check in with us so you won’t miss anything.
In the meantime, we’ve mailed Valve for comment, so if we hear anything back we’ll update this post accordingly.

La verdad es q si somos cansinos, pero es lo q hay , y antes del FFXV, quiero catar el FFvsXIII....

As revealed in the new July issue of Game Informer, Telltale Games, the developer behind the recent Sam & Max and Tales of Monkey Island revivals, will be creating a new series of episodic games based on the Jurassic Park license.

Telltale has a new deal with NBC Universal to create games based on their intellectual properties. The first game under the deal will be a full "season" using the Jurassic Park license. It's unclear how many episodes that will entail, but previous Telltale seasons have lasted between four and six episodes, with one episode released every month.

Telltale CEO Dan Connors described the project: "For Jurassic Park, we will leverage Telltale's expertise in storytelling and game design to deliver on the tension and drama of the series creating the ultimate cinematic adventure."

The first episode of the new Jurassic Park game is planned to launch later this year.

According to a job listing from Guitar Hero developer Neversoft, the studio is currently working on a shooter.

The listing, which is for a Level Designer, mentions it’s a “new action shooter game”, but nothing else was mentioned.

It could be anything from a new IP to even a sequel to its western series GUN, which was released back in 2006 for Xbox 360, the original Xbox, GameCube, PC and PS2.

It could even be a new Call of Duty for all we know. Just saying.

Además, apostaría también por la distribución digital al hacer referencia a "software para transmitir, recibir, compartir, descargar y mostrar contenido, texto, trabajos audiovisuales, visuales, sonoros, literarios, archivos, documentos y trabajos electrónicos a través de máquinas de juegos y máquinas portátiles con pantallas de cristal líquido." Se indica también su aplicación a "máquinas de juegos con televisión para uso personal."

Pese a que los primeros rumores apuntan a una portátil, por la descripción parece más orientado a ser un nuevo servicio en línea, quizás integrado en la estructura de PlayStation Network.
