Would you believe it?? The current champions Barcelona up against the previous champions, five time winners Liverpool. Benitez will be relishing the opportunity to send his European heroes on the pitch against maybe the best club in the world. In February 2007 we will see the battle of the titans, but whatever the result in the nou camp, Barcelona must remember that they must come to the stadium of echoes- ANFIELD.

Chelsea proved Barcelona are beatable so if Liverpool ignore the hype about Barca and play a tight, physical, fast counter-attacking game they can win the tie. Liverpool FC, 5 times Euro champs, fear nobody not in the Nou Camp or anywhere else! Let Ronaldinho see what a truly magical club is when he steps out at Anfield! YNWA
Although Liverpool got possibly the hardest draw, I still fancy them to progress. They will be up for it and Barca never play well in England.

Liverpool will struggle with Barca espicially with Messi and Eto'o returning for both legs.

Even though Barcelona are form now I still see Liverpool going through. Come on Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool. Stand up and be counted amongst Europe's elite.

Liverpool v Barcelona - I think that this is going to be extremely difficult for Liverpool especially in the Nou Camp but if they can keep a clean sheet anything can happen back in Anfield. If they get through everyone is going to fear them in the next round and if not at least they went out against the best.

As a Liverpool fan I knew it would be Barca. Time for Benitez to show his tactical know-how and experience of the Spanish league. As long as we can get an away goal and still be in the tie we will have a great chance come Anfield.

I don't think liverpool have anything to be to worried about. Yes Barcelona are a good team but they do not seem to be the team from last year's success and I feel that Liverpool can beat any team at home and are good enough to get a draw or even win away. Good luck to all the British teams.

I can't help but look forward to the Barcelona-Liverpool game as tie of the round though. It should be an amazing, passionate couple of games and I feel Liverpool can win that one.

Liverpool v Barca - What a tie, and what a chance for Liverpool to prove their European pedigree. Rafa the tactician will be pushed to his limits on this one. The 2nd game at Anfield will be electric, the Manager, the Players and the famous Anfield crowd will turn this into a memorable victory ... Winner to go all the way !!

The best games will be Barcelona v Liverpool and Real Madrid v Bayern. Considering the fact that Real beat Bayern several times it shouldn't be a problem with them. Can't wait for their first match

Once again the Champions League draw delivers. What an exciting draw! I would've preffered Liverpool to get a tough team so we can raise our game and beating Barca will give us a boost for the rest of the tournament. The 3 other English teams should go through easily although I would love it if Man Utd get knocked out!
