1.- No, ni se te ocurra. Instala BootMii y haz una copia desde 3.2, que es la más estable.
2.- No, pero pierdes el Twilight Hack.
3.- Este elf es compatible con el HBC 1.0.1, así que puedes tanto llamarlo boot.dol como boot.elf
4.- Correcto.
5.- NO, lo pone en requisitos.
6.- Se puede hacer por cualquier método (HBC, Twilight Hack o BannerBomb). Yo puse bannerbomb porque es el más sencillo.

Al grano. Quiero trastear la recién regalada wii de mi hija. Tengo bajado el Hackmii Installer y comprobado que puedo instalar el boot mii como boot2 (lo he comprobado metiendo los archivos en la SD y viendo que me funciona, pero sin llegar a instalarlo) y además también me deja instalar el HBC y el DVDX. La cuestión es que la wii está "virgen" con una versión 3.1E y quiero ir pasito a pasito.
Mi intención es, si se puede, primero instalar SOLO boot mii en boot2, a continuación hacer copia de la NAND y hacer 3 o 4 copias de seguridad. Para mí esto es imprescindible, no me gusta dar un paso si no puedo volver atrás. De esta forma tendré una copia de seguridad "casi virgen" (y sin HBC) de la wii de mi hija por si sucediera alguna catástrofe y hubiera que enviarla a reparar. Supuestamente al recuperar esta imagen de la wii lo único que no sería legal es lo que hay en lo boot2, pero me da a mí que sería mucho mirar por parte del servicio técnico.
Una vez hecho esto quiero instala el HBC
Ahora la pregunta es ¿en una segunda vez puedo instalar HBC con el mismo método?.
Me explico:
Ejecuto el bannerbomb y elijo instalar SOLO bootmii en boot2.
Instalo bootmii en boot2.
Reinicio.
Después de comprobar que salta el menú de bootmii vuelvo a "ejecutar" el bannerbomb con Gestión de datos -> Canales -> Tarjeta SD.
Ahora SI le digo en el menú de instalación que me instale el HBC.
Supongo que no habrá problemas ¿no?. La cuestión es que como en las imágenes veo que desde el menú del bootmii se puede entrar directamente en el HBC no sé si es necesario que se instalen todos a la vez o se puede hacer a posteriori y el bootmii lo que busca es si está instalado el canal de HBC para mostrarlo como opción.
Por otro lado sino fuera así, supongo que copiando a la raiz de la SD el archivo del HBC boot.dol (que por cierto en su web solo está el 1.0.1 y no el 1.0.2) debiera instalarse sin más problemas aunque no apareciera en el menú del bootmii.

A continuación he hecho unas pocas de copias de seguridad de esa SD que vale su peso en oro (les debo un par de a toda la gente del bootmii y a la mitad de la gente de eol ).
He vuelto a meter en la sd el bannerbomb y el hackmii installer. He entrado en Gestión de datos -> Canales -> Tarjeta SD y he vuelto a ejecutar el instalador para instalar ahora el HC.
Todo OK.

Claro. Necesitas una SD con un mínimo de 600 megabytes libres (por lo que no puedes usar la de 512, y siguente es de 1gb. Pero puedes usar una de 2gb o una de 4gb (que las hay).

bueno la cosa es que instale DVDx y HBC 1.0.3 desde el Installer v0.2 sin ningun problema
pero al instalar BootMii en boot2 no inicia el BootMii automaticamente al apagar y prender la consola con la SD preparada puesta...
asi que lo instale como IOS y desde el HBC con HOME puedo entrar al BootMii sin ningun problema
alguien le ha pasado esto??? porque no parte la Wii a BootMii automaticamente
el archivo de configuracion tiene comentados dos lineas la de autoboot y la de delay
porfa si alguien sabe...

Estoy casi seguro de que una instalación se sobreescribe encima de la otra, pero no me atrevo a confirmarlo. A ver si me entero, que casi no se explican los Twiizers.

Si te dice que no es compatible para ponerlo en boot2 es que no lo es, tendrás que esperar a nuevas versiones y mientras tanto ponerlo en IOS.
