Una cosa sobre el juego, es una tontería pero ¿no se han pasado un poco con la fuerza de Kazuma? vienen veinte tíos a por el, con pistolas y todo, y les da una paliza a los veinte, incluso para las balas con los brazos.

Yakuza creator talks about the future of the Japanese games industry

The current issue of Famitsu Weekly held a discussion on the future of the Japanese games industry with the top tier developers from Japan. This post will mostly cover what Toshihiro Nagoshi (Daytona USA, Super Monkey Ball and Yakuza) said (cuz, you know, we are a SEGA news site).

Famitsu also interviewed Toeishi Ashihara (Cygames), Hideki Kamiya (Platinum Games), Yoshinori Kitase (Square-Enix), Akihiro Suzuki (Koei-Tecmo), Yosuke Hayashi (Koei-Tecmo), Katsuhiro Harada (Bandai-Namco), and Hiroshi Matsuyama (CyberConnect2). * Is really grateful the PS4 has a lot of power that can be utilized relatively easily. Right now the biggest issue with making games is the business side rather than the development side.
* Developers don’t have a prediction for when enough people will shift over to current gen, allowing them to gradually shift away from cross-gen development.
* All that power allows them to make really beautiful and fluid games but it costs a lot of money which causes a lot of uneasiness. Ultimately though they don’t want gamers to have to worry about such things and just be able to enjoy the games.
* Despite the PS4’s graphics being certainly better when compared to the PS3, he doesn’t think it’s that huge of a leap.
* While they plan on being able to release only on PS4, they can’t say anything concrete.
* They estimate that sales within Asia will double that of Japan and things will start to change.
* The Yakuza series is first and foremost a game for Japan, so you can’t pin all your hopes and dreams on such a Japanese game.
* We need to think of high-end consoles as something necessary to keep us moving forward.
* In a world where PCs and smartphones exist, game consoles kinda occupy this weird little place in the middle.
* Can’t imagine what things will be like 10 years in the future but doesn’t see an easy path for game consoles.

Its interesting to note that SEGA’s focus has seemed to have shifted from the Wii U to the Playstation 4. Every interview with them has been mostly positive about the system, makes you wonder what they have up their sleeve for the future…

Una cosa ¿los dlcs que incluye son importantes? Porque no lo he probado, pero supongo que el código esta usado.
Ahora solo me falta el 3, ese no quedara mas remedio que pedirlo por Internet.

En Europa, el 15% descuento PS+ es de tiempo limitado tras el lanzamiento... por eso aqui no habra Pre-Order PSN.

Son 22GB de juego (recordad, en PS3 necesitais mas del doble para instalarlo eso serian unos 45GB minimo) y en un par de semanas dan la fecha.

Yakuza Kiwami’s New Scenarios Fill In Various Gaps, More Spotlight Time For Majima

Yakuza Kiwami adds various new scenarios, mini-games, and systems as part of the “ultimate remake” of the first Yakuza game. Key developers for the game shared more details in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. [Thanks, Hachima.]


* Yakuza Kiwami is considered a “revenge” title to themselves of 10 years ago, as in, they’re trying to prove to themselves that they’re able to do that much better.

* The remake will have a vast amount of new scenes.

* The way Akira Nishiki “changed” is one that’s especially going to get some attention.

* The music was particularly frustrating for Sega to work on. This time they were able to get B’z vocalist Koshi Inaba to help out.

* The content they’re going to show for Yakuza Kiwami is said to be more astonishing than what they’ve ever shown at past Tokyo Game Shows.

* They say that you’ll burst into tears if you play Yakuza Kiwami right after Yakuza Zero.

* Yakuza Kiwami was made all possible because of Yakuza Zero.

* The new episode focuses on Nishiki’s big change and the reason behind it while Kiryu was in prison for 10 years.

* Nishiki’s voice actor Kazuhiro Nakaya also noted that after reading the script, it was so rough on him that he felt like not reading any scripts for a while.

* The concept behind Yakuza Kiwami is to keep the Yakuza taste alive, while making a new title with high quality.

* Yakuza Kiwami is being developed with the developers’ knowhow being pushed to their limits.

* Events will be easy to understand.

* Everything you acquire as far as Battle Style in Yakuza Zero goes, will be available from the very start. However, due to having served prison time for so long, you’ll need to work on getting stronger again. That’s the growth theme behind Yakuza Kiwami.

* Goro Majima didn’t have much of an appearance in the original game, but he will in Yakuza Kiwami. You can help power up Kiryu with a new “Everywhere Majima System,” which will basically have Majima show up just about anywhere for a fight.

* If you’re wondering about how that works, we’re not exactly sure yet with the information out there, but he can ambush you while disguised as a cabaret club girl.

* A new mini-game called “Insect Queen Female King” will also be added.


Yakuza Kiwami will release in Japan on January 21, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
