psxc_xpandr 2.0 is outNew version available of my own solution to have custom games and more:
psxc_xpandrThe main new feature is that you now longer need to edit the extracted SQLite Database, since i have added a sqlite3 binary compiled for the PSClassic, which the script uses if a Game.ini file is found, and edits it for you.
This is not something as user friendly as other solutions. It's just an evolution of gpghax, incorporating some failsafe mechanisms, and features taken from different sources and my own investigation too.
DO NOT TRY TO USE THIS IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING
Features:
Can keep or virtually replace (loading from USB) the original installed games
Can add new games (loaded from USB drive instead or internal memory)
Edits the customised database for you, for each game which has proper Game.ini files
Minimal modification of PlayStation Classic internal storage. Powering off completely the console and removing the USB drive leaves the console as if nothing had happened
Gives you full control of the process (for example, you can edit manually the database instead of letting the script doing it)
Extracts automatically most of the needed files when used on a blank USB drive
Adds support for access to the console menu using simultaneously the buttons Select and Triangle of a controller
Optionally compatible to play with two controllers, using a USB hub
Optional UI modifications support
Optional cheats support via cheatpops.db
