AMD anuncia liberar versiones del UEFI que corrigan el error que tiene RyZEN con intrucciones FMA3, las cuales ocasionan que el procesador se congele. La razon que estas intrucciones FMA3 ocasionan que el FPU exiga mas energia de la que el procesador le puede proveer y con ello tiene un malfuncionaniento.
AVX y FMA son la nueva generacion de instrucciones desarrolladas y optimizadas para el uso multihilo, especificamente para el uso del FPU del procesador, lo curioso que FMA3/4f ueron introducidas con los porcesadores AMD FX; FMA4 inicio con la segunda generacion del Bulldozer y FMA3 con la tercera generacion [PileDriver].
