Ójala no tenga que volver a hacer nada porque sepa que otro no lo hará o no me gusta como lo hace )

Es que aquí no tiene ninguna justificación ni el tener que compilar, pues solo se trata de elegir un bin u otro y es una pena que un dispositivo que le da mil vueltas a mi teensy en capacidad, se encuentre limitado y vosotros, con problemas de este tipo.
Yo desde luego, es lo primero que pensaría hacer: teniendo en cuenta que lo único que varía es el payload, se hace necesario, no solo poder actualizar, si no poder elegir entre distintas versiones de forma cómoda. sin tener que marear al personal.
Pero esa es mi opinión y no la de otros.

El error que mencionas, es por que en el bin del .rar se incluye el descriptor que añade 32 bytes al principio. Si te fijas, el que he colgado en el enlace mide exactamente 3808 que es justo lo que se aloja (el error que te da al cargar el del .rar es precisamente eso, que el bin mide 3808+32 bytes y por tanto, es mayor de 3808)

Con todo el lío no he tenido tiempo para utilizar la toolchain de marcan y ver si puedo hacer algo para contribuir con el driver USB (lamentablemente, conservo muy poco de cuando trabajaba en Linux de PS3, me he oxidado bastante y me enfoqué en trabajar con gráficos 3D entonces. Tampoco Linux es lo mio, que yo soy de Windows )
