más info sobre la próxima actualización de dashboard de XBOX 360:
We've heard all about the stalker-ific "friends of friends" feature being added in the big Xbox Live Fall Update coming next week (December 4th), but now a few more details on the update have leaked out of Japan thanks to Game Watch, Famitsu, and translation duties by Joystiq.
Most of the changes concern alterations to menu navigation and layouts. The new "Games" blade (pictured), for instance, will now feature the options of "Game Library" (replacing "Xbox Live Arcade"), along with "Played Games" and "Achievements." The "Demos and More" option will evidently be removed, as Live Arcade games and demos will now be accessed in the Game Library menu, which shows a vertical list of available games in addition to a new horizontal list of filters such as "All Games," "Arcade," "Demos," and "Recent Downloads." This new navigation method is apparently dubbed "twist" by Microsoft, and is the same method used on their Zune.
The Marketplace blade will also be reorganized, with the new options being "Featured Content," "What's New," "Game Store," and "Video Store." Further Marketplace menus will also have twist navigation. Additionally, XBLA demos will be deleted from Played Games and Gamercard lists.
The best addition, though, seems to be the Personal Profile page added to Gamer Profiles, allowing approximately 500-1000 characters of space for gamers to write their name, nationality, region and a short intro. Nice, since the paltry Motto limit was always a bit annoying. As for what more the Fall Update has in store remains to be seen (in addition to what changes we may see in the US version), but we'll all know when it finally goes up next week.
