IBETX.COM CLOSES £20.00 FREE DEPOSIT BET WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT AT 3.00pm TODAY.
22nd November 2006
iBetX.com has taken the decision to close the £20.00 free deposit bet launched at Lingfield Park on Saturday amidst a blaze of publicity.
The response to the promotion has exceeded all the company’s expectations and many thousands of new punters have joined the ranks of iBetX members from around the World.
In order to process the vast number of applications the company has called a temporary halt to this and all other promotions to ensure that all the new customers who have joined since Saturday are welcomed in an organised fashion.
Matthew Stubbs, PR Director of iBetX.com said:
“This has been an extraordinary week in the company’s history. We were first time sponsors at Lingfield and on Channel 4 on Saturday. And to mark both occasions we introduced an extremely generous offer to new iBetX customers encouraging them to log onto our site and enter a Lingfield related code which would reward them with a £20.00 free deposit to begin trading on the exchange.
Our last televised race at Lingfield was abandoned due to a bomb scare and at the same time a surge of new registrations exploded in our offices that tested our capacity to its limit.
Rather than overstretch our staff who are fulfilling the new membership registrations, we have put the promotion on temporary hold to catch up with the back-log.
Following a review we will consider re-opening the offer to possibly run alongside the forthcoming Moneyman promotions at racecourses around the country.
If ever any evidence were needed that punters are seeking an exchange alternative to Betfair then these response levels are it.”
One punter turned his free £20.00 deposit into a £500.00 profit overnight and activity levels on the site have been huge.
Stubbs concluded:
“This offer amounted to a first come first served promotion and we welcome all the new members to iBetX who have taken advantage of the offer. We look forward to welcoming many new customers as we plan to run many more adventurous promotions in the future for both new and existing members.”
O sea que nada de pillar mas bonos de esos.
