Las animaciones las pueden retocar evidentemente, cambiando la lógica del engine original. Ademas ten en cuenta, que en el caso de Shadow, su base no es el original, sino su propio remaster que hicieron para PS3. Por otro lado segun la propia entrevista dan a entender que las animaciones del prota son las mismas, lo unico que han retocado son simulación de ropa y lo agregado a los colosos (pelo, plantas, etc).
