A los que dicen que el juego es gráficamente cutre o mediocre les invito a visitar las reviews más importantes del sector, no sólo el global, sólo el apartado gráfico, no baja del 7 mayoritariamente:
91----Gaming Age
A fantastic game, and definitely what I was hoping for when I first saw those initial screenshots a while back. The capturing mechanic is fun and interesting, while at the same time being tied into familiar third person controls for shooter fans, so there's nothing here that takes a lot of time to get used to.
90----Playstation Official Magazine Australia
Robust, charming and impeccably presented. Impossible not to enjoy. [July 2009, p.79]
90----Eurogamer Spain
Ghostbusters: The Videogame is possibly one of the best adaptations ever done of a film to a videogame. Its secret is a very detailed ambience, but the best thing is that it not only plays with our nostalgia, it also has great playability. The absence of Rick Moranis is the only thing that prevents the game from being perfect, but if you love the films this is what you've always dreamed of.
85----Games Master UK
A love letter to the much loved movie and a pretty decent and often original shooter to boot. [July 2009, p.64]
85----IGN UK
A blisteringly energetic, entertaining experience. It might lack variety on a basic level but it’s still engagingly solid, if not out-and-out spectacular.
85----Play Magazine
The gang’s all here—well, except for Louis. Terminal Reality might have created the only true Ghostbusters game, ever, but it’s about as good as we could have asked for (could have used more Murray, though). Who you gonna call? Atari for some DLC.
85----GamerNode
If you're a fan of the Ghostbusters franchise, you definitely need to play this game.
85----Play.tm
The story remains suitably compelling and entertaining throughout, but it's the intuitive controls and strength of the ghostbusting itself that'll keep you playing.
85----PSM3 Magazine UK
Too short, but packed with quality and imagination. [July 2009, p.60]
84----Gamers' Temple
Warts and all, you can't do much better than Ghostbusters if you're looking for a game that is above all else, just plain fun.
84----ImpulseGamer
The gameplay is a little basic at first, however as you play, you have access to more items and weapons, only adding to your gaming experience.
84----IGN AU
Ghostbusters won't change the way you think about videogame design, but it will change the way you think about licensed games. The gameplay isn't brilliant, but this is a loving third installment to a cherished franchise, and we thoroughly enjoyed the journey.
84----Pelit (Finland)
Ghostbusters: The Video Game looks, sounds and feels like Ghostbusters. And that's pretty much enough. Excellent entertainment for casual gamers. [June 2009]
83----Game Revolution
There are some flaws, including the lack of a local co-op mode, however there is just so much that was done right that you can't help but have a blast. It may not be everything you ever wanted out of a Ghostbusters game, but it's as close as you're going to get to perfection at this point.
83----1UP
As a Ghostbusters fan, this game came through by delivering an entertaining experience with plenty of laughs and just the right amount of action.
82----GameZone
You don’t have to be a fan of the movies to really enjoy Ghostbusters: The Video Game but if you are you are in for a very pleasant surprise.
82----ZTGameDomain
Ghostbusters is the perfect example of how to treat a cherished license right. The game plays great, looks great, and really captures the essence of what makes the series so beloved.
81----WonderwallWeb
Ghostbusters is a really enjoyable game to play and fans won't be disappointed in this title. Well worth your cash.
80----GameDaily
It suffers from a few issues (sloppy lip-syncing, repetitive music, unbalanced difficulty), but Ghostbusters: The Video Game is a must play for fans as well as gamers in search of a new shooter.
80----Gameplayer
Ghostbusters: The Video Game does not quite have the charm of the films, nor does it have the depth and technical prowess of either system’s AAA titles, but we’re all better off for its existence. When it’s on form the game is a thrilling blend of pretty visuals, great physics and challenging action and when it loses its way it still never tramples on your childhood memories, providing the voices, the music and the icons that’ll keep fans happily busting on to the very end.
80----Games Radar (in-house)
Simultaneously a new Ghostbusters movie and an enjoyable videogame. Rough around the edges, but the superb scripting and unique humour make this a breath of fresh air.
80----GamePro
Though I was ultimately somewhat disappointed by the flawed and fundamentally repetitive nature of my time as a green recruit, Ghostbusters' tight online component renewed my long-term enthusiasm for slam-dunking slimers.
80----GameSpy
Ghostbusters is a fun, accessible game, whether you're a fan of the films or not. It's also the best game based on a film franchise since The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay.
80----Play UK
Younger gamers will find this fun and funny. Older gamers may just weep in appreciation. [Issue#180, p.82]
80----Playstation Official Magazine UK
Strictly in terms of gameplay, this is probably a 7/10 - fun and polished if a little repetitive - but there's absolutely an extra level of enjoyment and quality here thanks to the smart and sensitive use of much-loved material. [July 2009, p.86]
80----Game Informer
The real meat of the game is getting to play through the Ghostbusters experience we've always dreamed about as kids - a story that could have easily been "Ghostbusters III." [July 2009, p.81]
80----IGN
There are some moments that cause the game to stumble, but you're getting a new tale in the Ghostbusters canon, fun gameplay, a whole bunch of stuff to destroy, and some cool ghosts to scan. I felt that the game's ending was a bit flat and the romantic interest was forced, but Ghostbusters is a hell of a ride.
80----Meristation
Ghostbusters does honor the movie. An entertaining game, with a huge array of gameplay possibilities. Some technical issues (judgements), problems with the AI, and a steep learning curve are the main problems with a game that could have fared much better. Nevertheless, it is a game recommended to the fans of Ivan Reitman's film, and to those who love the comedy of the 80s. To be a ghostbuster is the ultimate experience.
80----AceGamez
If you have any sort of enthusiasm for Ghostbusters: The Video Game then you can be sure that Terminal Reality have done nothing so wrong that you should be in the least discouraged from checking it out.
80----Multiplayer.it
Ghostbusters: The Videogame is not one of those crappy tie-ins which try to sell a franchise without respecting its own identity. It is instead a true sequel to the original movies, flawed so weakly that the gameplay is unaffected. Ghostbusters are back and not just fans will love this awesome action-game.
80----Cynamite
Fans are going to love it, but for everyone else this is just a good shooter with a different setting. But come on - who isn't a fan of the Ghostbusters?
80----Playstation: The Official Magazine (US)
The game, despite being a solid effort, ultimately falls shy of total satisfaction due to the brevity of the play experience (you'll complete it under 10 hours and earn earn just a few videos and a lot of concept art for your troubles). [Aug 2009, p.68]
80----Thunderbolt
There are some presentational issues that let it down, some of the weapons are a little underused, there are large chunks of inactivity and it’s relatively short at just over five hours, but that isn’t quite enough to stop this from being one of the best movie tie-ins in recent memory. They came, they saw, they kicked its ass!
80----PSX Extreme
It may be straightforward and linear, but it is still extremely satisfying and a lot of fun - and ultimately, fun is what makes or breaks a game. The story is a bit on the short side, lasting about 6-7 hours, but the multiplayer events are cool and there is downloadable content in the works as we speak.
80----XGN
Ghostbusters: The Video Game is absolutely a worthy third part in the Ghostbusters series. This game is definitely a must have for every Ghostbusters fan, but probably for every other gamer as well.
80----LEVEL (Czech Republic)
Original cast, original creators and great story with fantastic feel make 10/10 experience. Game mechanics and stereotypes are no more than 6/10. Simple math makes it an eight point game. [June 2009]
80----Telegraph
Bar a few flaws and annoyances along the way, it's geeky, funny, genuinely spooky in places, packed with blistering, ghost-catching action and beautifully captures a unique charm and atmosphere that has bewitched audiences for 25 years. Simply put, it's The Ghostbusters.
