The delivery was made on time after a hectic few weeks crossing all the t’s and dotting all the i’s and now our development team are busy preparing content for future XboxLive additions as well as putting some final touches on the long anticipated RACE Pro Demo. With a development time of 4 years we have poured all our knowledge of racing and all our hard earned know-how into the title and now it’s time for our fans to finally share our dream, right in the comfort of their own homes.
When he delivered the gold master disk SimBin CEO, Henrik Roos said: “I’m proud and happy that years of intensive development reached this important milestone, it is a testament to our belief in the title and I can’t praise the development team enough for their hard work. And RACE Pro
Executive producer, Klaus Starke added “I believe our dedication to developing the most advanced racing game engine yet to be seen is what sets RACE Pro apart from other games in the genre. Building our own engine has allowed us to tweak it to hit our very demanding standards”
The first flurry of previews and reviews are already spreading across the internet as well as in genre magazines and other media outlets and the general consensus amongst reviewers is that RACE PRO is indeed something new, bringing the known quality and attention to detail SimBin is known for in PC titles to the world of next-gen console gaming.
SimBin CCO, Magnus Ling stated: “We are already now seeing very positive reviews and the buzz in the console racing scene seems favorable and is of course very exciting for us to follow”
RACE Pro could not have been realized without the professional attention and aid of gaming heavyweights, Atari, who believed in RACE Pro from the start and who dedicated themselves to help see the title become a reality.
“The efforts from Atari and their professional approach to RACE Pro, has made a huge difference and we are proud to work with such a high quality Publisher on our first step into the console market” said SimBin CMO Johan Roos.
RACE Pro will be released worldwide on March 20th and will be available in all major gaming stores. New additional content is already in development to ensure a long and healthy life for the title and to ensure new challenges for the die hard fans who have followed us from PC, as well as new drivers who are in for a brand new experience with a true racing simulation.
But RACE Pro is not only for those who know their Apex from their Brake Balance, through the balanced difficulty settings anyone can pick up the game and have fun against the high level artificial intelligence or up to as many as 12 players via Xbox Live.
Creative Director for SimBin Studios, Diego Sartori, commented that “Realistic does not always mean difficult, all of us drive our cars to work every day without spinning out or crashing at the end of our driveway. Our philosophy at SimBin is “Easy to drive, hard to master” and RACE Pro follows this perfectly”.
We hope to see you all on the virtual tracks of RACE Pro, get your wheels calibrated and start your engines.
Team SimBin.
