Esto es en lo que están trabajando actualmente (copiado de los post oficiales de Magic Arena) tiene un mes ya el post, espero os solucione dudas!
This is the End of the Beginning
... and not the beginning of the end. Open Beta is the next big step, but it certainly won't be our last. Our team continues to grow (and is actively hiring, for anyone with the skills an interest), as we continue in our quest to deliver an amazing digital Magic experience. We fully acknowledge that Open Beta is not a 'finished product' - it's the time and the place where we feel comfortable lifting any Closed Beta restrictions. The core game is there, and it's time to let as many people as possible play it, provide feedback on it, and yes, at times break it as we continue improving on the solid foundation you helped us lay during the Closed Beta period.
So What's Next?
In the weeks following the start of Open Beta, our primary focus will be on stability and bug fixes. We're going to be welcoming a lot of new players with the start of Open Beta, and ensuring the core game is running smoothly is our top priority. This also covers improvements to the overall game performance, including improvements to load times and frame rates, which you should start seeing after the first month or so.
In the spirit of transparency, this does mean you shouldn't expect any new features until after those updates go live. Once that's done, we can refocus our efforts on bringing in some of the most highly requested features.
So... What's After That?
In the announcement stream today, myself and Chris Cao talked about 'what's next' for MTG Arena. Items generally fall into a handful of categories:
Working: Actively developing a concept from design specifications, to mock-ups, to playable prototype. Building fundamental tech, playtesting, and iterating.
Thinking: Looking at data, talking to players, and coordinating with tabletop folks to identify concept areas. Brainstorm possible features or solutions. Lots of conversations, coffee, and whiteboards.
Dreaming: Long-term asks and strategy discussions. Asking, ‘what if,’ about anything and everything.
Direct Challenge (Working)
The ability to challenge a specific player is something we're actively working on. It is a feature that opens up a whole realm of possibilities, and something we're very excited about. This will likely be one of the first new features in Open Beta.
More Events (Working)
For those of you who were with us for some of the summer updates, you're well aware of some of the... limitations we've had with properly promoting events. We're expecting the ability to toggle between Arena Play Modes and All Play Modes will help solve this. This should allow us to offer more variety with our event types, including more room to experiment with what exactly those events are...
Rank Matters (Working)
Currently, Rank is primarily (and by primarily, we mean only) used to help gauge 'fairness' in ladder play. It's the indicator we show you so you know whether or not you're facing off against an opponent of the same approximate skill level as yourself. We have goals beyond this, and yes, part of that will be adjusting how progression works. We know some of you felt stuck or stifled by your Rank, and you should start seeing improvements to this as early as Open Beta. We're looking for the system to provide players with progression, seasonal goals, and eventually a path to tournament play.
The Auto-Tapper (Continual)
We're going to go ahead and just add this to our 'feature that will never be finished' list. Every set will likely introduce some kind of change that requires us to improve or adjust how the auto-tapper prioritizes what lands to tap (looking at you, Hybrid Mana. ... And Convoke. ... Kicker is still kicking as well). So if you're asking whether or not we're going to 'make improvements to the auto-tapper', I can say with absolute confidence that the answer to this question will always be 'yes'.
5th Copies of Cards and Economy (Thinking)
MTG Arena's economy has evolved over the course of Closed Beta, and thanks to the help of our Closed Beta players we are in a place where we believe the economy is well positioned for Open Beta. There is still room for improvement, and we will continue to work on a few elements over the course of Open Beta. The fifth card problem is one where we're trying to find the best solution we can, but we're also looking at issues around Wild Card spend anxiety and improving the store in general. We expect all of these changes to be iterative improvements that shift the economy into a better place for our players.
The largest of the changes will likely be around how we handle what happens when you open a pack. Currently the fifth copy of a card contributes towards the Vault, which we have hidden until you can open it. The most likely future approach will be to ensure that when you that when you open a pack of cards, or receive an ICR, it is for a card that you have less then four copies of.
At face value, this approach is not particularly complex until you get to the edge cases, and service performance.
What happens when you open a pack from a set you’ve already completed? What happens when you open a pack and you’ve completed every set in Arena? What impact does this have on our databases? As a free to play game, we need to ensure we can continue to run everything at scale without causing performance issues that crash our servers.
There is enough work left here that the system could still morph significantly until it goes live, but this is where we’re at today.
Cosmetic Items (Thinking)
Yes, they're coming. We know you want them, and we plan to have them. Beyond that, there's not much else we can say at this time. We know cosmetics are important to many players, and they're on this list for a reason, but it will likely be the feature we focus on after the other items on this list.
Friends List (Thinking)
The migration of accounts with the launch of Open Beta is an important first step towards making a friends list a reality for MTG Arena.
Deckbuilder (Thinking)
We know we want to rebuild it, and we will. It is also something that does its job at the moment, and that's pushed it further down the list of features to address.
Platforms(Thinking)
Where does MTG Arena go next? We've heard many suggestions, if you have a platform you'd love to see MTG Arena on let us know.
Brawl (Dreaming)
As many have said, Brawl seemed designed for MTG Arena, even though it wasn't. At the moment we believe Singleton fills most of the need, but Brawl is on our radar.
