Una pequeña review sobre los XO Four que hay en Amazon USA.
Cada vez que leo más, las diferencias tienen a ser estéticas/comodidad.
Just finished a few rounds of CoD: Ghosts and the simulated 5.1 surround sound has been great! The info online has been a bit scarce, so I'll post a few answers to things I had questions on before purchasing:
1. There are conflicting articles online as to whether this is an on-the-ear or over-the-ear headset - it is over-the-ear.
2. All XB1 headsets that plug into the controller are stereo. The 5.1 is pre-processed by the XB1 and sent wirelessly in stereo.
3. if all you care about is game sound, but don't need voice chat, just get the $25 adapter, then you can use any headset you already own (including cheapo earbuds if that's your thing)
4. it is wireless... sorta. The headphones connect to an included adapter that plugs into the controller, which is wireless. - so... psuedo wireless.
5. Near as I can tell, the big differences between the XO4 ($99) and the XO7($159) is memory foam padding, swappable cosmetic speakerplates and pleather ear cuffs, but the audio tech appears to be the same. Me being a bit on the cheap side, decided that the extra padding and cosmetics weren't worth an extra $60.
My only real complaint (hence 4 stars not 5) is that the headset overall isn't very comfortable for gaming sessions lasting more than a few hours, but that may just be a case of needing time to break in.
One tidbit of note: This headset, along with any other headset for the Xbox One, the firmware for the controller needs to be updated before the adapter will work. Its simple enough to go through, but good to know ahead of time. - If you don't have the Play and Charge Kit, don't worry, the XO4 comes with a micro-usb cable that you can use to perform the update.
