Para los hardcore gamers, la lista de los tipos de cancel que pueden hacerse en el juego:
1-Guard cancel.
2-Basic jump cancel
3-Ascension cancel.
4-Advanced jump cancel.
5-step cancel.
6-Kamehameha cancel
7-power + manual vanish cancel.
8-power cancel.
9-no stamina cancel.
10-heavy attack cancel.
11-snap vanish cancel.
12-escape move cancel.
Y su explicación:
1-guard cancel : you do it when you use a combo that sends your enemy flying and you auto-vanish in their way to send them flying again (you guard just after you "teleport" in front of your enemy to cancel the next animation (you can do what you want when the enemy gets close to you)
2- basic jump cancel : you do this when you use certain characters that send the enemy flying a couple of meters in the air, then you just jump and press the light attack button or heavy attack button to connect a hit in the air (the button you need to press depends on the character you are using (trunks connects with heavy attack and ssj4 vegeta connects with light attack)
3-ascension cancel: you use this canel when you send an enemy far into the air, just after you send your enemy to the sky you press dash button + forward, then stop pressing the dash button and the left stick and hold the jump button.
4-advanced jump cancel: you can do this when you send your enemy far away to the sky or just a couple of meters, you just need to press dash button + forward + jump button right after you send your enemy flying (you need to practice this a lot) then when you think you can connect a hit (you only can suppose you are going to do it, or you need to calculate the time because you can´t watch your character because he is in the middle of the vanish move) you move to left stick back to your enemy and press heavy or light attack to connect something, after that you can continue with any combo.
5-step cancel: this cancel can be very hard or really easy depending on the character and the combo you chose to cancel.
You can use this cancel in a combo that send your enemy in a horizontal direction (but you need to see if the animation of the last hit is fast enough to let you time to chase your enemy after you send him flying) and you also need to see if your next move is fast enough to hit him while he´s flying. you can also try to hit him with heavy or light attacks, is better to hit them with heavy attacks beause it has 3 different strings to continue your combos.
6-kamehameha cancel: this is kind of hard, you can do this move right after you start charging up a kamehameha attack, when you start charging it you need to rapidly left the trigger that shows you your supers, then use a manual vanish and when you think you are close enough you hit him.
7-power + manual vanish cancel: you can use it when you have ki blast sueprs. RIGHT after you send him flying with a power at close distance you press guard button, then dash + forward + jump and when you think you are close to him you press heavy or light attack (its way harder than you think xD)
8-power cancel: this is the easiest one, you only use a super attack to cancel the next move, but you need to know each power to know if it´s going to connect or not (but after that cancel you can´t continue normaly) You can only connet by chasing your opponent with the fly button and if your character is fast enough you can continue.
9-no stamina cancel: you can only do this with characters that send the enemies flying upwards, and continue that vanishing while using stamina, (if you don´t have enough stamina to follow them, the character will jump) When the charater jumps you can connect more combos.
10-heavy attack cancel: another easy one, you do this by pressing ki blast button + heavy attack button in any part of your combo to send your enemy flying, then you press jump button to follow him diretly, or left stick + jump button to fly behind them and wait until they get close to you to continue.(it consumes 1 bar of stamina)
11-snap vanish cancel: another basic one. you only press jump button in the middle of a combo (not when you send him flying already) that will allow you to start a different combo.
12- escape move cancel: for this you need certain type of escape moves, you only perform the escape move in the middle of a combo to cancel your next moves, the next part of your combo depends on what escape move you have (if it is offensive of course)
(I know the next stuff I´m going to say are not cancels)
But you have, combos that make your enemy bounce in the floor, you can make corner them in the map ceiling, you can combine those cancels with powers too, you have infinite combo loops, you can chase your enemy if you have a fast character and continue that with cancels/ heavy or light attacks
