You no longer need to keep pressing the attack button to do the charge attack for gaining sp. The normal attack will charge automatically if you are not attacking.
- Each character now has fewer skills, which makes them less repetitive. The strongest skills now only cost 40 sp but they are weaker as a result. Also, you need to be slightly strategic in how you use the skills since stronger skills will take longer to execute and your character can get knocked down in the middle of using the skill. Although you get damage reduction during the skill usage, you will receive the full damage if your skill gets canceled and your character gets knocked down. Still, by the end of the game, you will mostly use those 40 sp skills since you get about 90% damage reduction (!) during the skill usage and they clean up the mob nicely.
- I would say nightmare difficulty in Celceta is harder than that of Ys Seven since even normal enemies will kill your character in 2~3 hits in this one and they use more variety of attacks, such as knocking down and grabbing. However, there are some factors that really mitigate the difficulty, such as strengthening weapons/armors and unlimited potion usage. Try not to rely on them too much since they can be game breaking.
- There are far more monsters in the fields and dungeons now. This occasionally causes slowdown, which is annoying, but at least it makes going through dungeons slightly less boring. Also, you can also find some powerful monsters in the fields, which adds to the challenge.
- Flashguard isn't as broken as it was in Ys Seven since some bosses will have unblockable attacks or will perform attacks that you are better off avoiding. Also, normal enemies will spawn during some boss fights so you need to make use of avoiding as well.
- The fields are much larger in Ys Celceta than in Ys Seven, which makes you feel like you are exploring the unknown land. It's quite neat.
- Sadly, the dungeon designs are still very dull. I really wish there were some interesting puzzles to solve along the way. It also ends up making personal actions just annoying since you have to switch to certain character and perform the personal action in order to proceed at some points, which just breaks the battle tension.
- Similarly, most quests are along the line of "go and kill this monster" or "bring this item to this person". At least there are now some quests that are different but still, I wanted little more variety in quests.
En resumente lo peor que dice es el tema de que hay ralentizaciones cuando hay muchos enemigos espero que no se note mucho, otra cosa que he leido es que para conseguir el 100% hay que pasarselo dos veces asi que el título va a ser rejugable.
