El jefe de Assetto ha dicho algo interesante sobre PC2, que los que estáis dentro quizás sabréis contrastar (si SMS ha fichado a un nuevo talento o han utilizado datos de Assetto o Rfactor).

This is why I don't believe in good handling and FFB just because it was made in colaboration with pro drivers, because often times they don't know how it works.
A good physics in game are made by a genious programmer who understand how to reproduce certain things from real world in to virtual, and only after all this things are done very good, only then you can ask for a pro driver how close it feels compared to real thing. And that only in case when the real driver is familiar with simulators.
For me Pcars2, is somewhere in the middle in terms of everything, its not a game that would exceed in something particular. You can't tell that it has low amout of content, but not as much as a Forza game, it donesn't have bad handling but still not as good as AC, etc.etc.
So for me, I would take Forza for fun and relaxing, and AC still for serious league racing.

although I agree with you it's also important to note that it is not impossible that SMS found their own "genius programmer" in house in the last 2-3 years. After all they are a financially healthy company whose product have been outselling every other racing game out there in the last 15 years. They could offer the ideal breeding ground for new talents to emerge. So it is possible that in the last couple of years they "went away" to develop pc2 they've found the talent in their team to bring the simulation value (tm) up a bit, especially considering how easier it is now with the possibility to gather very good data out of products like AC and RF2 to validate their new model.
So even if SMS is notorius for being a business driven shop with a phenomenal marketing department (not shy of using shady practices) but without serious tech punch to back it all up and this might be just that latest reiteration of their "we have the best sim in the world" campaign they've been pulling for the last 15 years since Shift 1, we'll still have to try pc2 before pass a final judgment on it... who knows? perhaps this time they're for real.
